Danny black at this place drills so deep you scar and bubble (dr said it was so deep under the dermal layer and that was the cause of the green pus) also some blowout spots. My husband paid 3600.00 for an outline and he even jipped him on his last $400 session we never got that money back! They even scheduled my husband and another person with the same first name the same day and time hubby drove over two hours to get there. Yes they apologized but how does that happen.. Oh and Black takes breaks to get STONED fyi lines come out crooked and he digs deeper the higher he gets.

They are horrible at scheduling the schedulers don’t communicate with their artists.

Went here once with a friend and after was hooked! I go to Mike every time and he’s amazing, the jewelry selection is gorgeous and he helps at every step. Very much recommend :)

I had a great experience getting my nose pierced by Lindsey! The whole appointment took maybe 30 minutes, very clean and professional studio.

I got a daith piercing here back in September. The piercer did an 18g piercing, and placed a clicker earring, which contains joints. I have had 6 months of nothing but trouble and am currently on antibiotics, after an absess formed. I cannot change the hardware, in the event I have a metal sensitivity, because the selection for seamless earrings in 18g (captive bead, curved barbell) is virtually non-existant. An earring without connections seems like a logical choice for an initial piecing given any blood or other debris caught in the seam will exponentially increase the risk of infection at the site. Given a daith is a difficult piercing to heal in the first place I cannot, for the life of me, make sense of his choice for gage and hardware, but I trusted the piercer because he was the professional, and because this company has good reviews here. I'm an RN, so I have extensive undertstanding about wound care. The infection has not occurred because I lacked discipline in after-care.

When I have reached out to this business for support I cannot reach a human being over the phone at any location, in the entire state. Most recently I spent over 40 minutes on the phone trying to reach them.

I am going to have to recover this infection and then repierce if I want this piercing to be successful.

Proceed with caution at this establishment.

I went here while on vacation, got my first tattoo with Dub! He is absolutely amazing, he took his time made sure it not traumatize my first experience. If I didn’t live 3 1/2 hours away I would have book another appointment

Lindsey is absolutely the best piercer I've ever had. Extremely professional and sweet. Explains after care clearly m The front lady and her will definitely get me to come back. HIGHLY recommend this place if you want quality.

This was my first time getting a tattoo. I emailed quite a bit with Lindsey who was very pleasant and helpful. She set up my appointment with Alejandro. When I arrived, Cat was very friendly and set me at ease. I was pretty nervous. Alejandro was such a joy to work with. He's a fantastic artist. I showed him an image of a sea turtle, he created the design and he worked with me on placement and size. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I love how the view changes with curvature of my foot. I highly recommend Alejandro and Pens & Needles.

I've now had 4 tattoos by Alejandro and love his work. He has moved from the Weber location to the Drennan location.
The staff and artists at both locations are very friendly.
My only complaint is that it often takes multiple emails and multiple phone calls to get in for a consultation or to schedule an appointment. I know several other people who have had the same experience. You have to be persistent, but I feel Alejandro is worth it.

I had my nose pierced by Michael Velasquez today. What a patient and caring man. He made me feel comfortable from the start and he never pressured me to buy the more expensive stud(I did that myself lol). When I get another piercing I will definitely go back to Mike. Thanks for a great experience on my 49th birthday!
