Sero Tattoo Collective

I got my first tattoo ever at 22 Caliber Tattoo in Hilliard, Ohio. The experience was awful! they spelled a word wrong and forgot to cross a T in a word. (the whole story is on the google review for 22 caliber.) After this disaster, I came to Short North Tattoo to have it fixed. They got me in right away and it took maybe 15 minutes. Biz was awesome, he made me feel so much better and he reassured me that everything would be fixed. I will probably need another touch up of the misspelled word and I can assure you, it will be from here. If I ever get another tattoo, it will be from here. I am very impressed to say the least. Thank you so much!

I've seen Ben (Chambers - owner) throughout his career in many different shops around Columbus, Ohio and this place, by far, takes the cake. The location and atmosphere are warm and welcoming. He couldn't have picked a better place to put down his roots. When working with Ben, you can tell that he's in it for the love of art and he wants to make sure you leave with something you will love forever. I have been many places around the country where people have commented on my tattoos and I ALWAYS make sure to name drop. I'm proud to wear his art and even more proud to call him a friend.

Great tattoo shop, the artist was supremely talented, genuinely nice and gave me a wonderful first tattoo! The interior has a really mellow vibe, it's just a place where a few talented artists can do their work when and how they please. A gem for sure!

Been going to Kiersten Cherry for a few months and now she's stuck with me. She's an absolute talent and a delight through the whole process. The facility itself is such a calming vibe and is such a safe and clean space. I'm so happy to have discovered this shop.

I don’t know about the other artists, but I do not recommend booking anything with Matt. I want to start by saying I live in Kentucky, which is 4 hours away from the shop, so I had to drive 4 hours there and back. I had scheduled an appointment with Matt 3 months in advance (or further), and one hour before the appointment he canceled because he was “sick.” He may have been sick that day, but the rest of my experience with him has me really doubting his honesty. After canceling, he made it seem like he would get me as soon as possible, even offering to come in on days off, stay late, etc. Well, we finally got an appointment scheduled a month later after very poor communication and basically no responses from him. I showed up to the scheduled appointment and HE WASN’T EVEN THERE. One of the other artists at the shop called him to see where he was and he straight up said he wasn’t coming in. One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with an artist in my entire life. I drove 8 hours twice, with no tattoo, no explanation and no communication. Awful experience. If you’re looking for someone with his style, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I cannot recommend Sero enough. Matt has been tattooing me for three years now and every time it’s the best experience. Super chill, super knowledgeable, I always feel incredibly comfortable. I’ve been tattooed by others in the past and this is a far superior experience. While I haven’t been tattooed by the other artists in the studio I’ve seen their work and how they interact with clients and each one of them is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for the most positive tattoo experience you can get, this is the place to go.

Sero Collective is top notch. The shop is clean and professional. Miller did an amazing job on a special piece to commemorate the loss of my soulmate pup! His attention to detail is something special. Honestly, from what I can tell from being there several times, all of the artists are friendly and talented as well. Wholeheartedly recommend!!

I have been going to Sero Tattoo for a long time and I truly love this shop. The professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of the staff is amazing. Matt, Ben Chambers, Miller, and Jay are all great people. I specifically work with Ben Chambers and have had nothing short of excellent service and Tattoos. His line work is un-comparable. Love the staff, love the environment, and love their art. Keep it up!

I had a great experience with Ben Hatfield. He was incredibly patient and understanding; this was my first tattoo so I was understandably nervous. I sent him an image of what I wanted and his attention to detail was incredible. I highly recommend! Great place with a great vibe as well.
