I got my very first tattoo on January 1 and having considered it for years I asked everyone in town for months who the best artist was and James kept coming up over and over. I had a relatively simple design put on my foot but even so I had several questions before hand that James answered so politely and carefully by text, and made sure that I knew exactly what to expect before I came in.
The tattoo experience itself was a breeze and the studio is so clean and comfortable I actually almost took a nap while he was doing his work! I love being able to make an appointment and he was already ready with my design marked up based on what we had exchanged and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Even though it’s pretty simple my tattoo has some intricacies to it that James nailed perfectly and I absolutely love it . I had zero problems afterwards and even the day after it looked perfect and I was pain-free .
I’m so happy I chose James for my one and only tattoo and I couldn’t recommend him more highly !

I got a portrait of my dog from James and I have to say. It was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been tattooed a LOT (I am also a tattooer). He was extremely polite, respectful, clean, nice, and may I say also incredibly talented at what he does. If you are looking for fine line tattoos, HE IS THE BEST. PERIOD. He also happened to do my first tattoo back in 2016 and even though it’s extremely small handwriting, it looks JUST as good as it did when I got it. Also I would just like to add: I have had bad experiences with male tattooers (being arrogant or feeling like they’re pressuring me) but he made me feel 100% comfortable and respected. His shop was beautiful and I felt very at ease there. He did a wonderful job. 10/10!!!!!!

JAMES IS AMAZING! I just had my first tattoo ever and it was a great experience. The shop is so clean and organized, he was so professional,extremely friendly, and understanding! My tattoo did not hurt at all and he did an amazing job! I will for sure recommend him to anyone ESPECIALLY if you want fine detail.

I got my tattoo done my James Samaniego if you are looking for a really good talented artist go to this man! He’s just so dang good I can’t stop staring at my tattoo. The line work is like seamless idk how to describe it but it’s impecable. I’m never going to anyone else. Everyone in my circle is really impressed with the detail & I’m glad I found an artist that I can feel really confident in I know that once I walk in there I’m gonna get what I envisioned. James was also very professional and had everything ready when I got there we just had to pick sizing and obviously placement. Anyway Big fan of his work do yourself a favor and check him out.
