I've never gotten a bad tattoo here, or had anything approaching a bad experience. Mariella is incredible, and I'm hoping I can catch her when her books open later this year for another piece! Joey is also super talented and does great work. The studio is always clean and smells nice, they're LGBT friendly, and the artists are approachable and easy to talk with while they stab you for however long. I haven't gotten any work done from the guys who strictly do trad style, but I do like they're work and have considered getting flash pieces from some of them. Overall a chill place.

I have been tattooed by Nick Moran twice. This was the first time at Riverside, and it was lovely. The other people at the shop were kind and Nick is always wonderful and helpful. I also have diagnosed OCD, and germs/bacteria/infection is triggering to me but I have felt extremely comfortable both times I have been tattooed by Nick.

I had such a fun experience here! The staff was quick to accommodate to my walk-in request and provided me with a great artist, @alec.zank. I had a fairly simple design but was nervous about its placement, but he was very patient and ended up making the tattoo perfect. Also, the studio is very clean and gives coffee shop vibes. Riverside is the best! This piece was done by Nick, and I am in awe. Everyone here is extremely knowledgeable, and they all make beautiful pieces. Not to mention, everyone is extremely nice and patient!
This is a great place to go for a first tattoo, because they have over 1 million American Traditional designs in their collection. Reid and Lavender also offer more contemporary work, and it is always done with creativity, precision, and speed! If you have an idea, they can accommodate!
