This is one of best shops I’ve been to in the country. Everyone is super friendly and open. Nick runs it but you wouldn’t know unless you asked. He’s super down to earth and extremely hospitable. Getting tattooed here was unique for me having mostly traditional Americana work. I highly recommend this shop, and nick! They’ve got some serious talent!!

Riverside Tattoo is hands down the best tattoo shop in Knoxville. It’s an open air shop, much different from most other shops in the area. Nick and his team are incredibly kind to all clients whether they are their own client or getting work from another artist in the shop they converse with everyone, artist and clients alike, and there is always good energy in the shop. Music is always on point. As another local small business owner I highly recommend you go here for your first or 50th tattoo.

This is definitely one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had. The staff is talented and professional. Nick is kind and attentive, and really goes to great lengths to ensure you feel catered to. He offered me coffee, water, a granola bar, even fresh raspberries and a selection of sparkling and still water (!!?). We genuinely love to see it.
In the midst of a pandemic, they also sanitize and have separate cups for “clean” and “dirty” pens when you sign in. And they even had a spot for preferred pronouns on the waiver you sign when you arrive. Truly such a refreshing experience that is a huge change from pretentious, cooler-than-you tattoo parlors.
