Canvas tattoo has been our go to studio over the past year. We have tried several locations in our home town and the Charlotte area, but this is the first studio we have visited more than once. Mike Barnhill is the only artist we have used so far but he is the absolute best. He did a great cover up on me and a delicate design on my wife. This location was highly recommended to us and for good reason.

I loved this place! Everyone was super nice and polite through the whole process. I got tattooed by Dennis Hamilton, he did a coverup/reworking of a 5 year old tattoo I had. He had great ideas about what to do to make it look good and cover what needed to be covered. He also chose perfect colors for it. I had no idea it was possible to fix the old tattoo (because it was so bad) and I just wanted it to look better. He was able to not only fix it, but make it into something beautiful that I am now proud to have on my body. I will definitely be returning to him for future work. Very talented artist, so happy with my tattoo. The shop itself is nice too, very clean with new equipment.

First tattoo experience and I couldn’t recommend more, everyone is very knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great. I had Rey who was a guest there and he did a fantastic job, made me feel at ease and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be back. 13/10 recommend.

Jefferson did a great job!. showed him a reference and actually looked at my tattoos first and made the tattoo match what I have. Fast and his lines and shading are really great. Would definitely come back again! Canvas tattoo has an amazing environment too. I recommend Canvas 10/10.
