Canvas Tattoo is an exceptional shop. I met with Elisa Sanchez for my consultation in July. She was very receptive to my idea for the tattoo and friendly when I asked questions. I brought in some example visuals and I also emailed them to her after the appointment. She set up two appointments because it was my first tattoo. I was curious what the illustration would ultimately look like but I trusted her judgment and I liked her style. Once I had my first session in November, all of my nervousness melted away. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable. Elisa had two sizes of her art stenciled out and she offered to make tweaks as needed on the spot! However there really wasn’t much to change… it was just what I had in mind! She helped me place it in just the right spot on my upper arm. The line work took about two hours. Really just felt like light scratching but nothing very painful. The second session with shading and color was slightly more painful but if you have a high pain tolerance I wouldn’t worry about it at all. I’m really pleased with the outcome. It’s just like I imagined yet a unique work of art from a talented artist. Also, we had great conversation through the session which made the process fly by. Healing was pretty easy, I used aquaphor and Dial antibacterial soap. I avoided spraying water directly on or rubbing it for about a week and instead just let water run down and let it air dry. Healed beautifully. I would highly recommend this shop. Very clean professional and talented staff!

Elisa did an AMAZING job on my daisy tattoo, and was so fun to talk to the whole time she was tattooing me! Getting my consultation and appointment set up was super easy as well. Plus, the shop itself is kept really clean, and I loved the vibes of the whole place. I definitely plan on getting any future ink done with Elissa at Canvas after such an awesome experience :)

My artist, Michael, listened to the things I wanted, gave his artistic input (I’m not great with making decisions so this was appreciated), and I’m OBSESSED with my new tattoo! I absolutely LOVE my tattoo, and it was only my first session. Mandi is absolutely amazing! So professional, personable, always making sure I was doing good. I am very excited to see the finished product as it is already so perfect. Everyone at this shop is so nice, so courteous. I definitely recommend Canvas to anyone who is even thinking about getting a tattoo. I will edit this with a picture of the finished tattoo when it is done.

My sister and I came her to get our first tattoos together. The experience was super straight forward. Our artist was Jefferson and he was so helpful in helping us with our design and actually made the design better than we expected. He made my sister and I feel comfortable every step of the way during our tattoo. Highly recommend. We are already planning to go back for our second tattoo😁.
