Forever Tattoo

Back in September, I decided to get my first tattoo. I'd been to a couple of other shops, and just didn't feel welcomed, nor did I like the vibe. Driving downtown, I spotted Forever Tattoo; there was an empty space right in front of the shop...I took that as a sign. As SOON as I walked, I was greeted by Kerry and one other person.
They both were friendly. I talked to Kerry about the tattoo I wanted. She gave me a quote, wrote it down on her business card and worked with me regarding the deposit amount. She told me how to prepare for my first tattoo, what to eat and EVERYTHING. I did exactly what she said and came back the next day; nervous and excited. She was really professional, explained every step, made sure I was ok with the size and placement of the stencil. I was pleased. The tattoo hurt as they're supposed to, but it wasn't unbearable. She's quick and awesome!!
I went back for my 2nd tattoo in October, and will be seeing her THIS week hopefully for my 3rd!! I love her vibe and personality.

The shop has poor communication skills considering their hours aren't listed,they never seem to answer phone calls, and no where online is it stated that they have a $60 minimum. A few friends and I went to get tattoos from Kerry only to find out she was out of town. We got our tattoos from Rob Hunt instead. It is hard to tell whether he is serious or joking. It's hard to understand what he's instructing you to do. He doesn't accept requests for design change from the client, either. I got the impression that he was actually annoyed to have people in his shop. For all the effort that it was, our tattoos came out pretty good. Rob also neglected to fully inform us of the proper aftercare techniques.

I do not suggest Rob Hunt.

I went to Derick to have a nostril piercing done a couple weeks ago. He is an incredibly talented, artistic and professional piercer. I have healed so well since my experience and would go back to him for any piercing in the future. There is nobody that I would more highly recommend.

Rob was nice as can be, and put me at ease for my first tattoo. He did a great job with it, and it looks fantastic. Its only taken me a week to fully heal, just overall 10/10 satisfaction.

I met Forever Tattoo's artist Kerry Burke at a shop in New Mexico during her apprenticeship. I was looking to get a compass and she worked with me to figure out details with the design and where to place it so it looked good. It was my first tattoo so it was great having someone who made me feel so comfortable.

Since then, I have been following her on Instagram (@kerryburketattoos) and watching her style develop. She is really so talented, especially her black tattoos! I have an appt with Kerry during my next trip to Asheville to work on a piece on my shoulder. So excited!

I went in for a consult with Becka after viewing her portfolio and knowing I wanted her to do my future tattoos. She was professional, nice, straightforward and not only knows what she's doing but is SUPER talented. She's got a knack for tattooing and I will be going to her for my future tattoos. The shop was very comfortable and has a cool vibe. She tattooed a feather with the word "love" on my foot, I told her what I wanted and she made it come to life! I am truly impressed with her talent. Go see her if you're looking for an awesome tattoo! =D

Forever Tattoo is hands down the best shop in Asheville. Super friendly staff and very professional. Rob can literally do any type of tattoo, and to perfection. Rob has done 2 of my tattoos now, and i won't go anywhere else to get a tat.

I have gotten 3 tattoos from Kerry Burke who did a wonderful job and I couldn't of been more happier with the outcome. I have been going to Forever Tattoo and Piercing since I've lived in Asheville and have never felt more at home. If you are looking to get a tattoo in NC i would highly recommend Forever Tattoo and Piercing.

I walked in off the street on a whim while on vacation! John & Jaylen were super welcoming & considerate. I had no idea what I wanted, but they took time to help me out and find the perfect idea. Jaylen drew up exactly what I wanted and executed it beautifully. It was a very comfortable experience and probably the best tattoo shop experience I've ever had. Also, I noticed a lot of negative reviews and I didn't even begin to get those vibes. They felt very inclusive and I can't imagine those reviews still being relevant to these tattooers. I hope to come back again!

John is truly the best! My partner and I never come to Asheville without getting work done by him. Very kind and easy to work with, and has an amazing eye for detail. All around great artist and great atmosphere!
