Pros: shop smelled amazing, was super clean, and the person who greeted me at the front desk was SO welcoming and sweet.
Cons: I went in for a tattoo consultation with Jose. I’m not sure if it’s his personality, or if he was having a bad day, but he came off as extremely rude and insensitive. He didn’t really make eye contact with me and was looking at his phone 90% of the time. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted to get tattood and he spent the majority of the time trying to convince me to do something different. I was super disappointed with how I was treated so ultimately, will be going elsewhere to get exactly what I want done. Definitely was surprised because this place had phenomenal reviews :/ hope this helps.

I was looking for a clean and professional place to take my daughter for her piercing and I found it all at Big City Body Art. I'm very big on reviews and that's what led me to this establishment. Dave was very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. My daughter's experience was calm and quick. He gives very detailed after-care instructions which I can appreciate. I can't emphasis enough how impressed I was with the cleanliness and safety protocols set in place. I highly recommend and plan to return for any future piercings and maybe even a tattoo.

I had an absolutely amazing experience! I was super nervous at first. Of course who wouldn’t getting nipples pierced. From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. They were super welcoming. They answered every question we had and walked us through the process step by step. They were super professional. I thought I would be uncomfortable with my breasts out. They only had them out for a few minutes just to pierce and clean. Otherwise my girls were put away. The information given for the aftercare was absolutely spot on. They healed amazing! I love them and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Oh and they hand the most gentle hands, I didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would.

I am very grateful to have found Dave and his piercing expertise. Unfortunately, the previous piercer I'd gone to in Arlington had put too short a back on one of my helix piercings, resulting in an infection. Dave expertly advised me on how to fix and care for this issue, giving me excellent advice on aftercare and replacing the earring with a much better set up. I'm gonna go straight to Dave for all my piercing needs from now on.

First time visiting this business. Had a right and left third lobe piercing done by Maddie, their current piercing apprentice. The shop has very thorough COVID protocols and the front desk was great about enforcing them. My second lobe piercings are a bit wonky as they were done at the mall with a gun years ago. Maddie did a great job taking this into account and positioning my new third holes at an appropriate location. She took her time and made sure I was aware of the concern and that I was happy with her decision. Piercings were quick and clean, very minimal discomfort. All staff were very competent, knowledgeable and friendly and I would definitely recommend any of their services! I will certainly be returning!

Solid guys, Dio is insanely quick, patient, and his work is great, but Erik the appreciate is very good as well. Dave & his apprentice Maddie are my go-to for piercings, this is a one stop shop.
