Came in randomly on a trip just thinking about something simple. Dusty asked what we had interest in and after showing him some concepts he asked if he could also touch up some older work. Not only did he call out exactly what I was looking for, he made recommendations for the style so it flowed with my other pieces. My boyfriend got a piece he had been thinking about for ages and not only was it well designed he executed perfect circles, a cover up and a band around the arm in no time. Love this spot!

Got a tattoo here yesterday by raven. I wanted to enter the year 2019 with something special. Myself & 2 of my friends as well. Everything was really clean and raven made me calm with this being my first tattoo. We are all happy how they came out. I highly recommend Raven at Forbidden Art Tattoos!!

We were in town for a night for work and found this shop. We arrived around 11pm and I showed Raven an idea of what I wanted and he drew it up and sized it so fast. Highly recommend this place! Super clean, an awesome atmosphere and environment and amazing work. By far my favorite piece yet!

I went in to get my ears pierced and it was overall a bad experience. I sat in the chair and they stuck the needle in without cleaning the piercing area or anything. They didn't offer me to select my jewelry so I was stuck with a pair of fake diamond studs, and they didn't offer me much aftercare information even when I asked as I was walking out. I also noticed a few weeks after once the swelling went down that the piercings are asymmetrical.

Me and my girlfriends came into town on vacation and wanted to get a tattoo, after looking and calling around we decided Forbidden tattoo was the right place for us. The price was more then fair and the gentleman at the counter, I belive to be the owner, was absolutely awesome! He was so helpful and very nice. The tattoo artist Dusty was able to take a drawing of mine and make it exactly the was we wanted it! He was very funny and nice. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking to get a tattoo locally or of your from out of town! They were very welcoming! Thank you to the boys at Foridden tattoo!!!

My bf and I went to NOLA for our 1 year anniversary in Sept 2014 and ended spending a significant amount of time at Forbidden Art. Rain added to one of my tattoos and did 2 more on my back...over 3 days lol. My bf got a tattoo on his foot and some other ink touched up on his sleeve. Everyone was super nice and we had a great time. We're going back next month and will definitely be stopping by for another tattoo!

we went to get tattoos & when we told the people what we wanted we were discouraged. the person used a slur when trying to discourage us. he told us they were just about to close & get something to eat. it’s nowhere near closing time.
