I got my first tattoo at Forbidden Art tonight! I was a nervous wreck and Raven was...so kind and patient and thorough and went to great pains to get my color and design exactly the way I wanted it. If I wasn’t moving away soon I’d be back for more!

It was an amazing experience! Everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable! It definitely helped with the anxiety. The guy dusty who pierced me was really good he made me feel comfortable and definitely made me laugh and it helped a lot with my nerves! So overall this place is a 10/10, fantastic experience!! :)

My mom and I walked in for matching mask tattoos. Raven quickly drew something up that we instantly loved. The color he did was so great, it pops perfectly! He was very professional and hysterical the whole time, he and another artist had us cracking up the whole time! If ever back in New Orleans, I would definitely come back to this shop for Raven!

Loved them! Went for matching tattoos on a girl trip. I loved that Dusty told me to be quiet when I kept going on and on with questions, made suggestions on different placement on our ankles and talked us into black and white shading over color. He even gave us a thorough history lesson on the area and Creole and Cajun people and backgrounds. I’m so thrilled with my new tattoo, but even more so to have a forever memory of this weekend and experience! Thank you so much!

Before I arrived at this absolutely amazing shop, I made the mistake of going to two other shops that apparently didn't think my money was green enough. From the time I arrived at Forbidden Art until the time I left I was treated with respect and professionalism. Dusty is a serious artist and an awesome guy to boot. I am completely enamored with my ink. I am beyond happy with my tattoo and I can't wait until my next trip to New Orleans to get some more ink from these awesome people.
