Me and my fiancée got tattoos to commemorate our engagement. Allie was super awesome she was great. With everything from the tattoo to the conversation to educating us on why this parlor is important to the tattoo community. Super honored that we got inked here, could not recommend her and AArt enough!!!

After having a horrible experience with another tattoo shop in NOLA we had been trying for weeks to set up an appointment with before finally managing to get one (which was then canceled upon us showing up to said appointment), we found Aart Accent Tattoo. They were amazing, professional and willing to create 3 individual fun little voodoo doll tattoos for us on the spot and complete all 3 tattoos on a Monday night. Steve is an amazing artist who went above and beyond to turn our ideas into reality, salvaging the final ending to our NOLA trip in the process. Go here if you're looking for skilled artists and a considerate and professional atmosphere. 10/10 will go back again on my next visit to New Orleans!

This is a fantastic tattoo shop! Got my second tattoo by Chopper. He is quick with the drawings efficient with the tattoo I was done in no time and came out with the wonderful tattoo! I love it

On vacation looking to get a tattoo. Erica was amazing! She got 3 of us in same day and out in a few hours. The designs turned out amazing. The shop is clean and very organized. Only thing I'll say is they were so busy they could use a front desk staff member so that Erica can keep her focus on what she does best: creating amazing tattoos. She's a true artist. If you're visiting NO definitely get a tattoo from here!!!!!

I walked in off the street after having looked at some of the reviews. When I went in I was able to get right in and was also told about the history of the shop! The first Black Female owned parlor in New Orleans for 43 years! My artist, Chopper Pete (@chopperpetetattoo), was great! He is very well versed in tattooing darker skin with color and understands what colors work best! Prices were very reasonable and truth be told, if you are paying for a $40 tattoo you are going to get blow outs and jacked up line work! Prices for tattoos start at $80. Chopper hooks you up with your after care and will assist with any issues you have after the job is done! Go check it out!!

Went to take my daughter to get her nose piercing to this place that was recommended by a guy who was the host of the place we stayed as we visited NOLA . So I loved the customer service, the cleanliness and the hospitality. I had no plans in get mine done and did it was smooth, quick and easy less than 3 mins.. Excellent $$.!!! Thanks Grouch
Art Without Fear
This place has had a home in my heart for over 15 years. My original piecer BooBi has left for ATL years ago however I still send friends and those alike here for piercing / tattoos. My only red flag, is this place doesn’t feel / look as clean as it should especially during COVID. The piercing jewelry options all look / are cheap. But if it’s trying to maintain the original tattoo shop it’s definitely nailing it.

Me and my girlfriend went and got our helixes done, she also had her ear lobes pierced. We had the piercers Jordan and Colin. They were both so nice and welcoming, we instantly felt comfortable around them and loved their senses of humor. I super highly recommend them.

Absolutely loved my experience here. My tattooist (Amber Hall) was wonderful and extremely talented and friendly even close to closing time, AND was willing to come in on her day off if I needed her to. Even though it was my first tattoo she didn't rush me at all and worked with me until I got exactly what I wanted. Everybody there was friendly and made you feel right at home. If you're thinking about getting one here - DO IT; you won't regret it.
And ask for Amber Hall - SHE'S GREAT!!!

Chopper is amazing! Such a talented, creative, patient, kind, friendly and professional artist. I provided a general idea for a cover up and he created a masterpiece! If you are ever in NOLA give him a call, it will be a fantastic experience! 😊 He even kept my husband entertained with conversation the entire 3 hour session.
