Charlie’s love of the visual mediums, painting and sketching, pushed him to pursue tattooing, where he decided to center his focus. The root of Charlie’s inspiration for his work lies in Japanese and American traditional tattooing, two of the most influential styles of the craft. Charlie is a wonderful artistist and person. He is doing a full sleeve for me and i can't be happier with the design he came up with for me or the experience I've had with him. I would recommend charlie to everyone. He's a fantastic artist and person and I couldnt have asked for a better human to do my art for me. Charlie does art, not just tattoos.

Charlie is an artist that likes to take time to add details to his projects. The tattoo I wanted was a simple tattoo. I wanted to cover up a couple of small scars and Charlie was kind enough to accommodate. I was pleased with the end outcome. The tattoo ended up looking great and it also covered up the scars. So he killed two birds with one stone. I would definitely recommend as he is one of the best in the business.

Haven't even gotten the tattoo yet, but working with charlie has been a great experience.
He is very professional, and pretty much works around the clock. We've been constantly communicating back and forth on how this tattoo should be done and why it should be done is such a way instead of the other.
He gives you insight on why tattoos are done in such a manner that the artist see but also works with the customer so that they are also 100% satisfied.
All in all, GREAT guy to work with and looking forward to my new piece!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Charlie and his work. I originally went to him for a simple foot tattoo when he was working at a different studio. It was flawless and continues to be, which is rare for something on the foot. I’ve gone back to his personal studio for my last three tattoos and I get so many compliments on them. He makes you feel comfortable and explains everything before he does it. I just booked the start of my half sleeve and can’t wait to see how beautiful it will be!

I followed all the guys to 3 Alliance Tattoo Studio from their previous shop, and Charlie was one that I followed. I sent him a picture of what I was thinking and I told him to roll with it. Well, he mad it 10x better then I thought it could be.
Charlie freehanded most of the sketch on my leg which I always enjoy. Charlie was so incredible, personable, and above all processional! You can see that he really does care about his clients. Before we got started he asked what kind of music I liked so he could put it in the mix of what was on, I thought that was really nice! I only survived through the outline and a little shading, but between the 4 hours of work he let me take a break and eat lunch. He is incredibly talented and not heavy handed at all.
After the tattoo was finished I felt a bit off, I called him and he was genuinely concerned and told me to update him for the next two days. I ended up being fine, but it was nice to know that he cared about his client and their well being.
