Charlie Cu Tattoo

I first came across Charlie's work on Instagram (@charliecutattoo) about 2 years ago. At the time, I was looking to get my first major piece done and was nervous about going with the wrong artist. After my first conversation with Charlie I knew he was the man for the job. From the start, Charlie maintained a level of professionalism and made sure that I was satisfied with every aspect of my tattoo. I have not gone to any other tattoo artist since and don't plan on it. Charlie's work is unmatched and to top it off he is a great guy! I would highly recommend that anyone who has an idea or concept for a tattoo but don't know how to bring it to life to go see him and watch him do his magic! Thanks Charlie!

It took me a while to find a tattoo artist I would trust to do work as big as mine. Once I got in Contact with Charlie though I automatically knew this is who I need to do my work. He will really take the time out to understand you as a person as well as your idea for what work you want done. He doesn't just sit there and listen to your ideas either, he gives you feedback on how you can make your piece flow better or where better to position it, etc. A great pro to Charlie is that he is patient with his clients. He has great reasonable prices, with amazing quality work. As far as scheduling your sessions he works around times that are best for you rather than the only days he's able to work, so you aren't rushed into going into the shop. Going into the chair with Charlie you will feel welcomed and be in a good environment. He has a very steady hand, it's not heavy, and his lines very precise. Charlie does Amazing work! I wouldn't recommend getting tattoo's from anyone else but Charlie! I plan on getting a lot more work done with Charlie in the future. Salute to him.

Got my first session with Charlie done yesterday. Every second of the session was welcoming from start to finish. He’s extremely creative and talented at what he does. He makes you feel right at home the entire time. The entire process from the setup until the tattoo itself is done very professionally. I’ve never been happier with a piece of art of gotten tattooed. He’s an extremely cool dude, very open mined, and keeps good conversation with you while he works. As well as making sure you’re comfortable during your time in the shop. I will most defiantly be going back for my many tattoos to come!

Charlie is highly recommended. He communicates and listens so well, turning any concept or vague idea into art. He blew away my expectations. Definitely coming back for my next piece.

For years I have wanted to get a Star Wars themed tattoo. I searched the different social media sites for ideas on my tattoo but never pulled the trigger on actually getting the tattoo. Last year I made up my mind to start my epic Star Wars half arm sleeve. I came across Charlie Cu during my search and really liked his work so I reached out to him with my idea. He set up a consultation to discuss ideas and he came up with a sweet design. Today, I just came back from my third installment and the tattoo is coming along very nicely. My job recently changed the tattoo policy so now we are coming up with ideas for a full Star Wars arm sleeve. Just as I expected this tattoo will be epic. I also appreciate that I have healed well from each session unlike some other experiences I have had with scarring. Charlie’s shop is conveniently located, clean, has a bathroom and refrigerator to keep snacks and drinks in for long sessions. Charlie is a great artist with awesome ideas and I am glad that I chose him to do this tattoo for me.

Charlie has done a great job on my tattoos. Unlike other shops, he works with me and gives me feedback and recommendations. He is always reachable with any concerns I have. Only con is that he is booked far out, but well worth the wait! ;)

Awesome Artist! Charlie listens to his clients and give you feedback that would take your tattoos to the next level. I was looking for an Artist that can do watercolor style tattoos. Charlie understood my vision and did an amazing job on my Cherry blossom tree!! highly recommended! book fast there is a waiting list!!!

I cannot say enough about my experience with Charlie. It was my first tattoo and was a memorial piece to remember my dad. Charlie was very approachable and provided me with advice about my tattoo before I ever committed that he would be the one tattoing me. In my experience with a few shops this is rare and won me over. Charlie was available to answer all my questions along the way. Today when I arrived for my appointment Charlie was very patient and provided his expertise as I made my final decisions. Being an artist myself it was important to me that I find an artist who is passionate about their work. Charlie is a great tattoo artist who works very diligently at making sure your vision comes to life. He did a coverup and turned it into a unique sleeve that I get tons of compliments on. Highly recommend him!
