This place is a total rip off. They charged me 250.00 for a tattoo the size of business card. It didn't heal right and faded immediately. I have many tattoos some I have had for years that look better. I'm having to go to another shop to fix it.
The elephant tattoo is the one I got at Valkrie for 250.00 it took about 45 minutes to get it done.
The sunset and mountains I got at a different shop, took 3 and a half hours and cost me 300.00.

Edit: After writing this review I recieved rude and harassing emails from Jesus telling me to change it. Total lack of professionalism.
Typical big ego tattoo artist. Would rather put the tattoo he wants to put on you than the tattoo you want. I had no interaction with Josh, but I did NOT enjoy my experience with Jesus. He did not communicate with me at all and made me very uncomfortable. There was no art check before you go in to see if what they are working up is what you want. Its just show up, the artist was late to the appointment he set btw, and if its not at all what you wanted... well great isnt this awkward. Also my tattoo was HORRIBLY placed so its up into my armpit and when I have my arms down by my side its crooked... The only time it looks right is when I have my arm outstretched... wtf am I supposed to walk around like Frankenstein all day so my tattoo looks right? These are amateur mistakes from an amateur tattoo artist.

I've been looking for a place to get my next tattoo for a long time. Did not want another tattoo that I would not be satisfied with and want covered up. Just been waiting to find an artist that I felt could do the tattoo I wanted. I found that artist at Valkyrie's. Josh Montiel did the exact tattoo that I've been wanting. I plan to go back for more tattoos and recommend them to everyone.

Made appointment to see Sarah. Appointment was today. She was AWESOME. Shop very clean, in a nice location. Sarah a Marine Veteran which is very cool, as I am also a veteran, Air Force. She gave me exactly what I wanted, and made it look far better than I expected. Had a great conversation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I will be back. Glad I chose.

I went to get a cartilage piercing, and it was performed by Sarah. She did a great job of explaining the entire process, and made sure to keep everything completely sterile. It was a great experience, and though I'm not a local, I will definitely be coming back here for all of my future piercings!
