Josh did more than a great job! Words cannot even describe! Incredible, outstanding, I got my first tattoo done in high springs Allstar and Zak didn't do a great job whatsoever so I went to Josh and he fixed it and did above and beyond my expectations. Not only is the facility clean and prices are affordable but the people here are just very very talented! Thank you so much Josh I can't thank you enough, you're very talented keep up the great work! ❤️ Definitely will be back soon.

I came to Josh because I had read some excellent reviews on the shop’s social media page. I had a simple fusion of a couple ideas in mind (a ghost dog), so I expected a pretty simple result. From the moment I walked into Valkyrie’s I was impressed by the comfort and cleanliness of the shop. When Josh drew my up design I already knew I was going to love the tattoo, but nothing quite compares to the feeling when you first look at that new part of your body and fall in love with it. Josh went above and beyond in making what could a very simple, quick tattoo into a bold, beautiful piece that really pops. I truly appreciate him taking his time and taking my silly idea as seriously as any of his other beautiful pieces. I could not possibly recommend him and his work more.

The best tattoo shop around. The artists are very friendly and perform professional quality work. The shop is very clean and sterile. Customer service is phenomenal. I got some cover-up work done, and the finished product is great. Josh is an awesome tattooist that is using state of the art equipment and inks. Thanks Josh.

Valkyrie is an extremely clean, professional, and friendly shop. I went in with a very non-traditional tattoo idea and sketch and was referred to Josh Montiel. I looked up his portfolio and was very impressed, so came back for a consultation and Josh was so interested in my ideas, very friendly and experienced. He gave me some ideas, quoted me a very reasonable price range, and ultimately did an amazing job tattooing my own art! Everyone in the shop was personable every time I went in, and I can't wait to go back!

Worked with Josh on a piece to my half arm sleeve. Great customer service and really listened to what I wanted. Shop was very clean and was in and out with an amazing tattoo. Would recommend to any one who is looking for quality tattoo work for a great price. Truly an overall great experience all around.

Josh Montiel did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. The shading, attention to detail and realism is impeccable. I would highly recommend this tattoo shop over all others in town. He was very professional, clean and sanitary. He involved me in the artwork related to my tattoo, made me feel comfortable and was overall just a great guy. I had such a great experience! Josh Montiel did my tattoo and did such a nice job! He's such a sweet guy and truly cares about the experience you are having at Valkyrie's and how satisfied you are with your tattoo. He's showcasing his art on your body. He's attaching his name to that art. He's going to make sure it's what you want and that it's high quality. I highly recommend Valkyrie's! Josh is an amazing artist, but the other artists are brilliant, as well. You can't go wrong with any of them! :)

Wow, I can't say enough great things about Josh. This was my third tattoo (and third tattoo parlor) and the experience was a cut above the rest. Josh took his time drawing out my idea and came up with something even more beautiful than what I originally had in mind. I loved it so much that I got it done in black ink instead of in white like I was originally thinking! He put AMAZING detail into the tattoo and every little line is done perfectly and intricately. It's a gorgeous tattoo and throughout the whole process he was very personable and it was a pleasure getting to know him. Highly recommend checking this place out!!

Josh did my first tattoo, he was awesome. We were late getting into the shop, but he was willing to stay and get do it. Looks great, I had my plan and and explained what I wanted and he drew it perfectly. Great detail too in a tiny tattoo.

This was my first tattoo and they made the experience extremely comfortable. No pressure, super friendly, no rush. The place has also a warm atmosphere and it's very clean.

My tattoo was done by Josh, who is a very friendly easy going guy, he answered all my questions and was very professional. I am really happy with the result. I'll be definitely going for another one.
