"A woman owned shop since 2009 Wanting to create an inviting and dynamic shop, owner and tattoo artist, Tina Marabito opened Poppycock Tattoo in Downtown Wilmington, Delaware in December of 2009. The shop, known as a vivacious part of the downtown neighborhood, hosts local group art shows in it's lobby's art gallery, sponsors local events, and attends tattoo conventions. Poppycock Tattoo won the Best of Delaware Upstate Tattoo Shop from 2018 - 2022, plus Big 7 Travel "Best 50 Tattoo Parlours in America". Sought out SHon based on his style of work, easily made an appointment for a consult and then appointment for the tattoo. SHon worked with me and my idea (and he had to re-draw a few times based on my wants) but worked until I was 100% satisfied. I'm super happy with the work, great shop, everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Awesome experience w/Poppycock Tattoo & Piercing. Tina did a wonderful job with my mother on her first tattoo (my mom is a few days away from her 65th bday), me and my husband. Kick-Ass! I have been going to Poppycock for years and will continue to be a loyal customer. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and will flat out tell you if something will or will not work with your design or body-type. It's not a place to go to if you plan on blowing money on something useless, they are artists and treat every person like the unique canvases they are.

Yesterday I came to pick out noise ring was even instructions how take put it in. Well of course I end up breaking it. The staff was really nice about letting me get a new one since it had broke the night before. I never meantion that I have been here two yrs ago when Pat was the owner , He was Awesome! But the staff now with the exception of Tina I think was here name was horrible everyone played busy didn't want to HELP except for this one girl that might have been the boss and I do use that term lossly. She barked for the one guy to help me while she stood around doing nothing. Finally a very nice young Lady from the tattoo part offer to help me out and was able just that. I thanked and tipped her.As I was their Tina suggested that I get a hoop also because my nose ring that I have is sinking in so I did. It was 15 but was told I had to pay 5 dollars more after my service was complete because she put it in for me. Which I was never told from Allison ..... Needless to say they will never ever get business from me again.

Really great group of artists. They have fun and are very knowledgeable. If you're looking for piercing jewelry as well they sell also. Also nice home decor and tees so definitely check them out!
