"A woman owned shop since 2009 Wanting to create an inviting and dynamic shop, owner and tattoo artist, Tina Marabito opened Poppycock Tattoo in Downtown Wilmington, Delaware in December of 2009. The shop, known as a vivacious part of the downtown neighborhood, hosts local group art shows in it's lobby's art gallery, sponsors local events, and attends tattoo conventions. Poppycock Tattoo won the Best of Delaware Upstate Tattoo Shop from 2018 - 2022, plus Big 7 Travel "Best 50 Tattoo Parlours in America". Got my tattoo done by Tina. I love it. I got a molecule tattooed on my upper arm and she worked with me on just how to draw it out so that it came out just how I saw it in my head. Highly recommend if you're in the area

I've been to Poppycock Tattoo 3 times. 2 for tattoos and 1 time for a piercing. Each time I went to Eric. I have three lovely tattoos (one of which is a cover-up that I thought would never be able to be changed into something so detailed yet simple. My other two tattoos are so finely done and beautiful. I got my first tattoo here and the artists know how to work with virgin skin. I didn't even feel the tattoo at all. I had 0% pain for every single one of my tattoos, and my nose piercing was over in 2 seconds and it healed very very well and was even and aligned perfectly. All in all this shop is very refined and professional. I love every single one of my tattoos and I am actually going back to have my shoulder piece done by Eric in three weeks. To anyone trying to chose between this shop and another search no more because Poppycock is one of the best shops in Delaware and quite possibly the whole tri-state area.

An amazing little shop in downtown Wilmington. Not only are they friendly and approachable, but they are very educational with piercings! I've only been in twice, once to get my nose pierced and a second time to get it changed and a new ring for my nose piercing and they have been very helpful. I would definitely go back as well as recommend this shop to anyone looking for piercings or tattoos!

Excellent experience. I felt like Tina truly listened to me describe what I was looking for, and she turned my thoughts into something more beautiful than I even imagined - I get compliments on my tattoo on a daily basis! The shop is clean, well-lit, professional, and plenty of interesting artwork - not just flash. They also have an extensive body jewelry collection which I am sure I will return to peruse. Highly recommend!

Went there to get my nose pierced the shop is clean everyone was nice. Eric was nice and helpful the procedure was quick and easy. They told me if I had any problems to come back. My sister also recommended me to poppycocks. I was very pleased.

Great experience! I walked in and was there for a total of 15 min max. Eric did a great job and I barely felt it; I got my belly button pierced. The shops piercing prices are definitely the best in the area too!

I have gotten 9 tattoos so far from this shop and I love each and every one as much as the rest! There is always a happy vibe and always a crazy fun thing going on in the shop! Each time I have left the shop I leave with a tattoo that will last forever and stories that will last the same! The artists are helpful and more then willing to work with you on tattoo ideas and piercings. And the artists are crazy amazingly talented. I highly recommend this shop hands down the best shop I have ever been to
