Thor’s Hammer and Needle Tattoo

You know when you walk into a tattoo shop, and you feel it's the one? That's Thors Hammer and Needle. Not only is the owner Justin an amazing person but such an amazing artist. He really tells it how it is, let's you know how it'll look, I've never had a bad tattoo from him. The other artists in the shop are amazing as well so professional, clean environment, and just a cool and clean environment. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Had my first tattoo done today by guest artist Jake Sifford.
Wow! What an incredibly talented artist. The piece he created for me was far beyond my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better artist. Thank you so much Jake for making my first tattoo experience a stellar one!

Mike is great. I am having a full back done and it is the most comfortable and relaxed time. The total atmosphere is relaxed and makes you feel like everyone is your friend. Recommend Thor's for all your tattoo needs

I've gotten a few pieces from Zac and I love them. The atmosphere here is very welcoming, everyone in the shop is friendly, and they produce consistent great work. I would highly recommend this shop if you're looking into getting tattooed.

When I'm making a decision that can be lifelong, I want to make sure i have the right people around me. Thor's Hammer and Needle is Legit and the best. They are talented and super knowledgeable.

Getting advice on how the tat will look years from now is insight others don't always share. I've been to places where they just want to make a quick buck and lay whatever on you. The artist here really care about you and want to make sure that the best work gets done so you'll always look back and nod "hells yeah"

Went down to lil ol Poulsbo to Thor’s Hammer and Needle after having a bad experience at a different shop in Bremerton. I was feeling pretty skeptical and kept thinking to myself, “what’s the point? All tattoo artists and shops are the same.” But when I walked through the doors with my husband I was taken aback. The owner immediately welcomed me and politely pointed me in the direction of the portfolios. After looking through them I chose Zac Schmidt to do my piece and he instantly approached me, shook my hand, made some killer eye contact, and actually listened to what I wanted like I was an actual person and not some bimbo that waltzed in there looking for a tribal unicorn tramp stamp. I felt valued and respected. Upon getting my tattoo, my second experience had little difference from my first. Zac was timely and professional and the shop environment was fun and easy. The work Zac did was exactly what I wanted. He would give me suggestions but also ask my opinions... like it was my body this would be etched on forever and not just some walking canvas with his name on it. I can not say enough good things about this shop and its inhabitants. If you’re looking for good art and better people... look no further. This is your place!

This was my 3rd tattoo . This was my first one at Thor's hammer and needle.
You know what they say, three is a charm. I wish I had found this established earlier.
I was well looked after, properly informed on after care for my new ink, the shop was clean and the conversations were fabulous.

Left a 2 star rating because the attitude we were given by an the staff there. I had an idea in mind for a biomechanical sleeve and the guy, unfortunately don't remember his name, scoffed at me and told me good luck finding anyone who will do that. I simply presented the idea, didn't ask for specific pricing or anything. Was well aware what I was seeking would cost a pretty penny. Wasn't expecting it happen that day either. I'm no amateur when it comes to this, I understand etiquette. Also no, the shop was not at all busy. If the artists there were incapable of doing so, all they had to was tell me, not make it out as though I'm the idiot for having the idea. More or less the vibe we got when we went in was more than unwelcoming. Went somewhere else and they were more than happy to work with me on my idea and in the end it worked out amazing. I liked the shop, but the staff made me never want to go back.

This place is GREAT! Been to a few tat parlors in the past and Thors is no tat parlor. Professional artist take the time to make sure you get what you are looking for. Jake did just that and made sure I was satisfied with my new tat before I left. The place is clean and atmosphere is relaxing.
