Fury 13 Tattoo

I’ve had three sessions with Derrick (@d.creator) totaling 6 separate tattoos done - & I can’t stop coming back for more. His flash designs drew me in, and his quality of work kept me as a long term client. He’s so hospitable, patient, creative and dedicated to his work. 11/10 recommended this incredible apprentice.

This was an absolutely atrocious experience, please do yourself a favor and stay far away. Check out their website, the artists have undeniable high end talent, no doubt about it. But the management is terrible. We scheduled a group of four to get tattoos at approximately the same time from 2 artists we really liked. This way we could all be there while the others got their ink done. We came in from way out of town (New England and the Carolinas) to get this done. We planned an entire weekend around it. We put down our deposits and multiple chats with artists and management for scheduling, pricing, styles, source material, etc. This is all weeks in advance. We arrive on the day we are scheduled and nobody is there. We wait a little bit and the shop gets opened but there are no artists on site. The receptionist confirms we are her group of 4 for the day, so she clearly has us in the system. A little while late, another person arrives and tells us that the artists aren't coming because they were not scheduled for the day. We show the text chains and that clearly we had scheduled our sessions for that day. The next excuse is that we hadn't paid deposits. We show our the cash app receipts for our deposits including date and artists' names. After that, she suddenly did find our source materials that we sent (after claiming we did not do that) and asked us to reschedule later that week. We explained that we had come in from out of town specifically for this and that next week we would be gone. They next offered to have a different artist than the ones we had specifically chosen (with a different style than what we wanted) do all of ours in a row. Several of our pieces were quite large and it would have taken the artist multiple days to do all of the planned work, that was why we had booked two different artists. We got our deposits back, but we still wasted all of that time and the associated travel costs just to have our booked artists be unavailable and the shop give us the run around and tell us it was our fault until we showed them the exact conversations and deposits they claimed didn't exist. Again, nothing at all against the artists here. Their work looks amazing. But just stay far far away from this place until they get some new management. The worst tattoo experiences we have ever had.

Overall amazing experience with Fury 13. We called saying we had a short window of time to be tattooed and they were able to move around their schedules to accommodate us. Awesome environment with even better artists. Julio was my artist and went above and beyond. He did an amazing American traditional tattoo for me with cool twists that made it not only original but badass. My GF was tattooed by Derrick who did an amazing job with fine line work. 10 out of 10 Never going anywhere else for a tattoo!

I loved this place! The environment in the shop was very chill. The people were very nice and funny. They are very welcoming and genuinely nice people. I loved the tattoo Julio did on me, he made it even better than imagined. The environment also looked clean and sanitary. Overall, I’m very pleased with the work Julio did and I’ll definitely be going back. :)

Koko was phenomenal. Found her through a family member. Collaborated on the piece. She was fantastic and super nice. I just got my tattoo and I’m ready for my next one!

I recently visited Fury 13 for the second time, and had the pleasure of working with Koko as my tattoo artist! From start to finish Koko was nothing but accommodating, professional and genuinely fun to be around. I couldn’t recommend her more highly, and am looking forward to working with her on many more tattoos to come!!

I messaged this shop last minute to see if they could accommodate a quick tattoo, very professional messages and timely as well. I was matched with Derick as my artist and he was timely, professional, and fun to work with. He made sure cleanliness and sanitation was his priority, as well as my comfort. I am very happy with how my tattoo came out, exactly as I envisioned. I will be back to work with Derick on a cover up that I desperately need.

The best tattoo experience for my first one in over a decade. Derick was fantastic to work with, attentive, responsive, professional, and kind. He really understood my design desires and concerns, and had a very light touch - especially around the sensitive foot area. Would definitely go back!

I did a walk in, TJ was the artist. Did amazing. Establishment is very clean ! Procedure was neat! 10/10 recommend!

Got my tattoo with Koko. She did great work, was collaborative and listened to what I wanted. The shop was clean, everyone was friendly said hi, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I already got compliments on my tattoo and referred them to Fury13. If you need to find a shop go here!!!
