Professional atmosphere and a fun staff lead to this being the best tattooing experience I have. Which is saying something as I wear a full sleeve and several individual pieces. I cannot recommend The Hive highly enough. Even if you are just on the fence, or looking for your 20th piece, drop in and speak to these top tier artists

I have to wonder if all you people that gave this place 5 stars all paid $1000 for a 3 and a half hour tattoo?? Either everybody that goes here for their tattoo are millionaires or they just didn’t want to do my tattoo. I’ve talked to several tattoo artists and this was the most expensive place to get a tattoo by far!! I’m talking like 100’s of dollars more!! Even if I would have taken the risk and only paid the $550 for the 3 hour session, because apparently I had to choose between the two, that’s still a very expensive tattoo and I’m even going off of prices I got quoted here in San Diego!

Just got my avatar tattoo started with Mason, and let me tell you he was quick. We got lining, shading and some color in all in one session.before the tattoo I just told him I wanted aang but when I got there and saw what he had sketched out I immediately knew that I chose the right place and person to do the job.he will definitely bring to life whatever it is you are looking to do.
And the shop is so nice and clean. And if that's not enough the pricing is great! And not only is mason so amazing I was able to see what Michelle, Trent and believe her name was kelsey where working on and omg this entire shop is filled with talent all in their own different and unique ways.every tattoo I saw was wreaking of beauty. And they all communicate and help each other throughout each other's process It was nice.all the other artist are great company and very friendly with each other and eachothers clients as well.
I only got tattooed by mason but loved all the other artist too.
The music playing was great and actually relaxed me. After the tattoo is done they use saniderm. Which is like a weird clear bandaid thing that keeps the tattoo all fresh and all and easy to shower with. They also have some great after care product in the shop as well. They definitely give a very great explanation on taking care of your tattoo and what is ok.and I say they as in every one of the tattoo artist. All I have to say is this tattoo place definitely puts their heart and love of tattooing into every piece they do. Every single one of them. I recommend this place a thousand times of I could leave more than five stars you bet your bottom dollar I would! Can't wait for my next session!
