This friend of mine Killed my tattoo. The feeling and the experience that I had in reverence tattoo shop was definitely one of a kind. Great people, amazing atmosphere, and overall a great experience. Thank you Crystal Yazzie and thank you to the entire team there, they offer many styles. They work as a team and itโs refreshing to have an amazing experience.
I just started my second large piece and I am soooo excited. I would definitely refer everyone I know to this shop. I have some experience in the tattooing industry through people I know and this is shop is one of a kind is a very good way and artists all work as a team and help each other out if ever need. Itโs a one stop shop for all styles of tattoos..

There was a group of us that worked with Gabrielle to get matching tattoos. First off, she was great to work with! Getting our appointment set up with her was easy and she was very responsive to all the questions we had before we came in. She is a very talented artist who did an excellent job with the tattoos, all the line work is absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend Gabrielle as an artist and would recommend this tattoo shop as a whole.

Me and my best friend got matching dragonfly tattoos by Gabrielle (@mackmade.tattoos) who was not only amazing at what she does but was lovely to hangout and chat with the couple hours we were there. We definitely got nothing less than we expected and she took the time to get every small detail perfect. I live out of state but would definitely pay her a visit again if i came back to SLC !!

I wish I could have found Matthew Crawley sooner. Iโm so glad I was referred to him. He brought life into a back piece I thought was done for. His hands are magical. Iโve had a lot of ink done heโs by far the best. I definitely will be going to him for all my tattoos and Iโll be referring all my friends to his shop.

I just got a tattoo from Gabrielle Mack, and let me tell you she is the sweetest human. She took her time with this piece that means the world to me. I would highly recommend her as an artist. The shop was super nice and had such a good environment.

Iโve been going to Matt Peters for years and he is, by far, my favorite tattoo artist. Friendly, relatable, incredibly talented, the list goes on!
The shop is always clean, everyone in there is friendly and warm.

Havenโt gotten a tattoo in over 10 years and looked around for a while here in Utah for a good artist. Ended up going with Matthew Crawley after seeing all his work on Instagram. Was not disappointed. Super friendly and clean shop filled with artists who all do awesome work. Will be returning for sure

Reverence is the best tattoo shop I've ever experienced! A lot of times you go to shops and each artist is just doing their own thing with no communication or excitement. What is amazing about this shop is the fun & supportive culture they have. Everyone is genuinely interested in each other's work and building rapport with their clients. Matt Crawley has been working on my sleeve since last year. He is not only an amazing artist but makes it such a fun environment and overall experience. I highly recommend all of the artists at reverence! They have truly built such a beautiful and clean shop with a culture that I haven't seen anywhere else!

I was tattooed by Matt Crawley. I had 2 sessions that totaled 8 hours.
Summary
Pros: Clean and friendly facility, Matt was good at small detail, fair pricing.
Cons: Surfacey consultations, wants to do his own thing, wonโt do touch ups (even when thereโs prominent mistakes in the piece), takes forever to respond, spelled a word wrong in my tattoo.
Detailed Review:
Start off with some pros:
itโs a clean facility. The different artists / apprentices and overall vibe when walking in was very friendly. In my opinion he was very good at the small face detail he did for me. Pricing was fair.
Now to list some cons:
Overall I was disappointed with the consultation. I booked out 4-5 months out and Matt told me we would go back and forth (over Instagram) to nail down what I wanted 3 days before my actual appointment. However he took so long to respond that I felt lucky he even responded when he did.
The second appointment we never went back and forth, not for lack of me trying. I showed up and didnโt like the initial design. He tried reworking it there on the spot, but wasnโt really listening to what I was saying. He told me โif you have something super specific in mind Iโm probably not the right artist for youโ. Mind you I was open to suggestions and desperately wanted an artistโs opinion to help come up with something that would look awesome.
Iโve heard tattoo artists offer touch ups after a session. Now maybe this is an assumption on my part. However, if youโre expecting a touch up from Matt.. donโt. He read my message about a touch up (that he recommended) and never responded. I sent him a few others and nothing. Iโm completely ghosted.
