Great staff! Very good customer service. I went there last night to have someone look at my nose ring (I’ve had some problems with it since changing the ring last week). They got me in right away and I think her name was keesha (spelling?) even stopped the tattoo piece she was doing to look at it and helped me with my ring quickly. They didn’t even charge me. I was looking at the tattoos that were being done while I was there and they looked amazing. Everything looked really clean. Cool vibe in the shop, I love all the artwork they have up on the walls. The only thing I would warn about is that they do have a few large dogs off leash in the shop (not upstairs where the actual piercings and tattoos were being done) so if you’re scared of dogs or allergic you might want to call in before you go and ask that the dogs are put away. They were all very nice so I’m sure they would be accommodating. Also I should say that I went really late like 9:15 pm so idk if they have them out all the time or just because it was the evening.

I absolutely love this place! And they have worked so hard to make it what it is! They're more than my artist, but Have welcomed me as family. I was there for my daughters first tattoo with Jake. He worked with her to develop the perfect piece of art and it turned out amazing. And he was able to schedule her on her birthday. Can't get any better than that! Thank you for making her day really special. You are a wonderful person and your art blesses those lucky enough to sit with you!

Love that place. Jack is the best! They also got me in for a Helix piercing right away. Kindra was sweet and very gentle. Didn't feel a thing. I won't go anywhere else.

Jack is the man... One of the greatest people person's I've ever met.. And. His work is second to none in this state.. Also never met someone so fairly priced on his ability.. And he's humble Because of it.. And that's just one out the artist's here ... There are more all talented in there own ways

I called Jack and asked for a memorial tattoo for my Mother who had passed away in November. I needed it by her Celebration of Life at the end of May. Braxton volunteered to do it on a Sunday morning at 7 a.m. When I arrived he was helpful and kind while assisting me with exactly what I wanted and needed. He was professional and talking with him during the process was fun. I am forever in your debt for what you did for me!!! I recommend this place and these people (especially Braxton) to anyone looking for a tattoo now!!!!

I went with my ex-wife and daughter to Skin It to watch my ex get a tattoo on the top of her foot. Very cool tattoo shop with an awesome old school vibe goin' on. Lots of cool pictures hanging on the walls and the staff was amazing. I'm not good with names, but I'm pretty sure the tattoo artist was Jack. Great guy! He looks intimidating, but you can't judge a book by its cover. Some of the nicest people I've ever met are the scariest looking people. It was a pleasure and I'll definitely go there for my first tattoo, whatever or whenever that may be. I would recommend Skin It to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Once you enter the building, you'll quickly become very comfortable once you realize how friendly and amazing they are. Trust me. I have a social phobia and anxiety and I felt nice and relaxed being there. I had walked into skin it tattoo on 5th street November 30th and was getting matching tattoos with some friends, I had wanted 3 9’s on three fingers and 15 days later this is what I’m left with?!!??
Out of the few 5 or 6 other tats I have I’ve never seen anything like this. I did everything I usually do, the basics moisturize and keep out water all that blah blah. And this?!?

Not to mention the lopsided tongue piercing they had given me.. thought to give em a second chance and here we are!!!

I had the best experience I have ever had getting my tattoo done at Skin It Tattoos. I had mine done by Kezia and she was fantastic. This is my sixth tattoo and my favorite one now. The line work is impeccable, she was fast and super light handed. She was also really funny and easy to talk too. I would recommend this shop and tattoo artist 100%. Thank you guys and I will see you for my future tattoos. :)
