Outstanding. I needed a nice cut before flying home after being at Lackland and decided to stop here. No regrets, I just wish these guys were up north near my house. They actually care about how you look. They take the time needed to get it perfect. Great atmosphere and the business owner is truly passionate about the work they do. It was relaxing and I haven't had a cut this good in years. Thanks so much guys! I recommend this place to anyone stationed around San Antonio. They do it right. Hot towel was great too

Had such a great experience here. First off want to say thanks to Rich and the staff for making me feel welcomed and cleaning me up before a wedding I had to attend. I normally cut my own hair since I usually have bad experiences at hair salons but this time it was the complete opposite. While other business are not accepting walkins during COVID, I called up Big Chief and they said come right in! Customer service on the phone and in person was excellent. Greeted me when I arrived, enjoyed a beer and was seated within 5 min. Rich did an amazing job cleaned up my hair and beard and gave me a freaking massage in the process of prepping my beard! It was definitely more than I expected to pay for a cut but it was well worth it. Will definitely go back before any major event. Thanks again guys, I really think y’all are setting yourselves apart from others in the industry.

I drove all the way from Galveston, Texas to check out Big Chief Barber and Tatoo studio.
This place is one of a kind and has amazing atmosphere. One I have never seen before.
The staff was very Professional along with the Seevices.
I got a hair cut from the owner Dominic Sr.and it was a great experience. I received a Hot towel shave along with my cut. It was great.
I also got an awesome TATOO from Dominic Jr. Again this place is something to see and I advise everyone to just come and check it out for yourself, You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Didn’t need to call ahead and make an appointment, the moment you walk through the door everyone welcomes you and greets you unlike any other barber shop, everything is clean and worth every second of your time from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out they treat you like family. You can tell that they are really passionate about the work they do and only want the best for you and your hair. Would definitely recommend to everyone in SA.

I had one of the most REMARKABLE experiences at Big Chief Barber & Tattoo studio. Walking in, the studio is super clean and the atmosphere is very friendly & welcoming. All of the barbers and stylist have great customer service and give you their full undivided attention once you sit in their chair. Rich cut my hair, provided skin and beard care that I was amazed through the entire process. The barbers and stylist not only provide superior service, but they take the time to educate you on reccomended products and ways to maintain hair care. I will definitely be going back and i'm already excited for my next visit. Thank you!!!

I’ve never been here. It’s my first time in San Antonio, TX and I’m trying to get a haircut. My friend finds Big Chief on Google and we decide we’re going to check it out. As soon as we entered those doors, it felt like it was my birthday. Omar and Rich greeted us and were quick to get to work on our unshaven, not-so-fresh hairstyles. They wanted to make us comfortable and they succeeded. We had a worthwhile conversation about how Big Chief came to be. It was the best barbershop I had ever been to. If I lived here, I’d be their #1 customer.

This is my second time going to Big Chief Tattoo for a meaningful peace and, I am more than happy with not just the workmanship but also their customer service.
All the staff from the tattoo and barber shop are so friendly and very welcoming with big smiles. Every time I come in I feel like I'm being greeted by a long time friends.

I have gotten a few tattoos before coming to the shop and the quality of work is the best I've ever had. I really recommend visiting the shop if you're looking to get a piece done.

I travel all over the states for work. This is BY far the coolest place I have ever been in. Super chill environment. Very clean. I received the cleanest, smoothest head shave in the morning then the most bada** tattoo I have seen that afternoon SAME DAY. SAME PLACE! Do not waste your time or money ANYWHERE else.
