Chase is a bad dude with a needle. He works fast. He's super creative. He will listen but he also knowsif something won't look good, it's on him if he listens to you, so let him put his foot down. The man is a visionary. I can't wait for my next session.

Looked around to different tattoo places in Austin since I just moved here. Mingo had some awesome work on IG so I decided to go with him for my tattoo. I got a tattoo for my late sister. Mingo drew up a beautiful tattoo based off one I showed him.
The shop is easy to find. It's on a corner. The shop has an open setup and is clean. No one can go behind the counter so if you bring someone they will have to be on the other side of the counter. They do have a place to sit and the distance you will be away from someone isn't very far. They only accept cash but there is an ATM right across the street.
I would definitely recommend Freedom Machine Tattoo. I've had nothing but a good experience with them and already plan on getting another tattoo from Mingo.

Went on Wednesday morning to get a quote and schedule an appointment for my brother and me for a sibling tattoo. We were quoted are $200-$240 each. Both my brother and I are thrilled with the work Mike did on our tattoos. He was very gentle and professional. And our tattoos are exactly what we wanted. The original quote was exactly what we ended up paying, so we weren't surprised at all. The rest of the staff was professional and easy to work with scheduling, and offered us an earlier appointment if we wanted to. They are cash only, so make sure you have some with you when you go to schedule your appointment. I rarely carry cash due to Covid, so I had to make sure to grab some before I went. I definitely plan on going back in the future.

I visited about a month ago to get my first tattoo. Chase Otis was my artist. It was a straightforward and relaxed process. I brought in an idea I would like done and he designed several versions of it to give me plenty of options. This was for a black and grey tattoo. The whole tattoo process took about 5 hours (it’s a larger piece) and it came out even better than I had imagined. Chase did great work and it all healed up quickly. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo.
