Went in for a calvin and Hobbes piece. Savannah was awesome and everyone at the shop was friendly and cool to talk to. I love the tattoo that I got. It's exactly what I had hoped for! I plan to get more and to have them from their shop!

This is my favorite place now to get a tattoo. The people in there are extremely nice, the atmosphere is chill. I had Steve to some Japanese on my arm and he was amazing. He was really pumped about doing it he seemed to really love what he did. Which was a breathe of fresh air compared to other tattooist who are rude and show no interest in working on you. Would definitely recommend Steve. He is extremely talented and a very genuine dude. It was a great experience!

I had an appointment for tomorrow 09/17/20 at 11A and they canceled it today at 4:09P.This appointment was made several weeks ago and my wife called them last Friday because we haven’t heard anything and confirmed the date . Received a text from Bright Ideals on Saturday 09/12/20 to confirm. A thumbs up was sent to acknowledge the text and my IPhone showed received.I thought we were good. So after reaching out to them on Friday and acknowledging their text message they still canceled the appointment.Called them today 17 minutes after they left a message about tomorrow’s appointment and was informed that it was canceled and the next available was November. I told them to forget it ! I have proof of all the calls and text messages That's pathetic and I’m going to the better business bureau and file a formal complaint.

The shop is fine and it's clean. But I should have walked right out when I got to my appointment because my artist was tracing the design right off the computer screen. The only reason I stayed was because of my deposit. Now I have a piece that I'm content with (but don't LOVE) and am considering covering it up with something actually unique from another shop.
Giving 2 stars because she was nice enough, walked me through my first tattoo thoroughly, checked in on how I was feeling consistently, and the drawings on her wall were beautiful. The talent is there, I just wish she would have used it for my piece.
Overall, a pleasant experience but the copied tattoo that I'm just barely satisfyed with is the most important thing from a tattoo shop.

Best place to get tattoos in middle Tennessee! The staff and artists take time to get to know you. They all are very good artists that know what they are doing. The shop is always clean and the environment is cozy and friendly. I've gotten all of my tattoos there (5) and I highly recommend Bright Ideas.

my husband and I both have been clients of John Knox for over a decade. His work speaks for itself. I can easily name 3 dozen other friends of mine local and out of state who we have referred to him and now have ink from him. He is the best at taking an idea and creating a one off yours only custom piece of artwork. he also did an entire coverup sleeve on my husband that is killer!! if you're needing a custom piece John is definitely your guy

My expirence for the first time here was GREAT!! I didn't catch my piercers name but the card says Linz so anyways the atmosphere was great and she did a awesome job on my tongue piercing quick and easy. Will defenitly be going back to her to get my nose pierced. The price can't be beat will defenitly have my recommendation.

Bright Ideas Tattoo is the best place ever! Corn stayed an hour late for me and my friend and he was so nice and funny and super cool! I definitely recommend this place! Super clean and friendly!
