made an appt with Landon while I was on vacation for a small tattoo and piercing. The process of making the appointment was quick and easy! Once I arrived I was pleased to see the shop was very clean, and had all around good vibes! Landon was chill and friendly, and worked with me with my tattoo idea. I love the outcome! It’s definitely one of my favorite tattoos thus far. If I’m in St. Thomas again, I’ll definitely be back for more work!

Stopped here before heading to the airport to return home from our vacation. Called the day before and got appointments. Landon did 4 tattoos in 2 hours. All done nicely and for a great price. Definitely would recommend him.

The owner Landon was great!! He was able to accommodate my daughter and myself as walk ins. Our tattoos turned out great!! Best prices around!! Took a trip to the islands recently, with no intention on getting a tattoo. After some thought I decided what better way to commemorate this epic trip than to get a permanent memory of it. I did my research and recognized one of the artists names Landon Heying who I had heard about in LA. Ended up deciding on Compass Rose and was by no means disappointed. Amazing experience!!

The gentleman Landin was are tattoo artist for me and my wife. We came in to get a matching tattoo. I can say that out of the 7 different tattoo artist I have gotten tattooed by and the 30 plus hours of ink I have on my body. Landin was one of the most accommodating and easy to work with artist I have had. He can work with your budget, very confident, help you find just what you want, where he would suggest to be a good placement, and is clean with his tools!
I have a lot of ink everywhere but have not had anything on my foot yet so I felt like it was time to get one on my foot. I had been really nervous about it because I have heard mix stories from different people saying it’s not bad at all to people saying they passed out. I had no idea what to expect and Landin made me feel comfortable with getting it done. His work is quick and clean and his lining is pretty dam good! Overall I would totally come back for his tattooing service again if I wasn’t just vacationing here.
I guess he and a few other tattoo artist bought the shop from the original owner who was ruining the shops reputation. So some of the older reviewer might reflect the original owners work.
