I got my first, second, and third tattoos all at Eastern Pass, and all with their resident genius, Stacy Fevinger. I am beyond happy with the results, and Stacy + the Eastern Pass crew made me feel so comfortable. The first tattoo was a custom piece (the guitar) and the second two were art reproductions I wanted Stacy to do in her own style.
I booked with Stacy first by filling out an email form on her website. After the first session, we scheduled in-person. Before the first session for the custom piece, Stacy had me bring the guitar by the studio so she could photograph it and we could talk placement. As a generally nervous person, Stacy has been a godsend and the rest of the Eastern Pass crew has been amazing. She talked me through the shop’s transparent pricing policy, her rates, the safety stuff I needed to know, and was very cool about my 10,000 questions.
The shop is small and filled with incredible artwork and very kind artists. Each session I’ve had at Eastern Pass I’ve brought a book and my headphones, but I end up chatting with Stacy and the other artists, many of whom dropped by to check on the progress of my pieces and offered both Stacy and me some water.
Pay for good art, get good art. Eastern Pass is the real deal. Come with your ideas and your wallet open, and you’ll be thrilled with the results. Remember to tip your artist!
