I have been to new rose twice now, the first time I had a very good experience with the artist. The second time however was awful I should have left! I came in to just get a tiny piece done on my hand and the artist who was available (Jared) was so condescending and mansplained hand tattoos to me... I showed him what I wanted and he drew something up that I did not like and had him redo it several times which seemed to make him annoyed and at one point slightly raised his voice at me? I ended up feeling pressured to get one that I honestly am not 100% satisfied with. I'm sure the other artists are great but he just made me so uncomfortable and it was not worth the $100 minimum. I have other friends who have had similar experiences with the staff here as well.

I love this place. It's comfortable. Doesn't feel like a "bro" shop. Feels welcoming to all people. Carrie did my tattoos and I love her work. But I'd feel comfortable with any of the artists here.

I have had a number of tattoos done over the last two decades, from a number of tattoo artists, and I visited New Rose Tattoo for my last two pieces. I'm not really one to write reviews, but this place is rave worthy. Professional, clean, chill vibe to the business and outrageously talented artists who support each other and their art.
This particular nod is to Erica Kraner, who literally hours ago just finished a huge thigh piece I had been scheming up for years and after 4+ months has been completed.
Her line work is on point, colors vibrant, and original vision brilliant - all demonstrated and showcased in her Instagram feed.
I will definitely be visiting New Rose for my next ink adventure - Thanks Folks!

I would highly recommend New Rose to anyone. Mark Ledford did mine and did I wonderful job. This was my first tattoo, I was scared, and the staff helped keep me calm and told me what to expect and what to do after the tattoo was done. My tattoo is circular sheet music, the music is 'Don't stop Believe' by Journey, with a puppy pawprint in the middle. Everyone here was super friendly and helpful. I would gladly recommend anyone to go here.
