I had a rad experience here and it was easily the best functioning shop I’ve been in. From professionalism and cleanliness, to charm and hilarity!
All the folks working were great and cheerful, and my tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted. Matthew was a great artist, and I really appreciated his work!

I've had nothing but a wonderful experience for years with these people. This is a place that is so much more then "just a tattoo shop". As far as tattoo shops go I place this place in the highest of tiers. There work, personality, cleanliness, attention to detail, attitude, everything is just such a cut above everything else.
If you go to anyone here you will have a very very hard time finding a place that will even come close to the level this shop is at.
Trust me, I moved away and regret it constantly.

Brandon at Dead Gods Tattoo does such a phenomenal job. He listened closely, did a detailed sketch over a photo of my leg on his tablet, and then worked his professional magic to make me the most awesome tattoo I have out of a dozen or so. There's a long wait for his services because he's in such demand, but it's totally worth it!
I've gotten so many compliments on my Beholder (a Dungeons & Dragons tattoo) since I started wearing shorts over the Spring/Summer. I love it!
Note that this review is only for the Beholder tattoo, not the other couple you can see on my legs.

The shop is super clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

The culture and experience at Dead Gods tattoo was amazing. Not only are the artists talented beyond belief, but on their breaks they admire each other's works-in-progress. Tyson gave me a tattoo I've been planning for 20 years, and it is light years beyond what I'd hoped for. I traveled 2600 miles to get it, and regret nothing!

It can be hard to find the “right” spot or artist for a new tattoo, but the team at Dead Gods makes it look easy. I did so much research when I was looking for a shop in Portland that could execute on a horror/pop culture themed tattoo and no other shop even came close! If you’re looking for responsive, creative, professional artists with impressive attention to detail, check these guys out. They have artists who specialize in a ton of different styles. Shout out to Tyson who does RAD black and white work, especially things on the creepier side!
