Thrill Vulture is awesome! I've gotten two tattoos there, both of them by Matt Brown: Bag End in March 2016, and the Tree of Gondor in February 2018. Matt was really accommodating and listened to everything that I wanted. He's also a super nerd, which is awesome because he knew exactly what I was talking about and had a real appreciation for it. I shopped around at a few other places, and while they seemed nice, they didn't have an appreciation for Tolkien like me, so I didn't necessarily trust them to design a tattoo that I knew I was going to love and want on my body forever. I'm writing this in March 2018, and my Bag End tattoo is holding up really well. I still love it and get a ton of compliments on it. My tree healed really well and looks great. If I ever get another tattoo, you bet I'll be coming back here. I haven't had any work done by Naomi, but she did the scheduling for me and was wonderful to chat with. These guys are clean, amicable, and very professional. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I walked in on a Saturday (thinking Saturdays are prime tattoo days), and got right in on a walk in. You know your tattooing experience will be amazing when the shop plays one of your favorite musicians.
After sketching a few ideas and settling on a design, Matt Brown went to work inking me for my second time. In between the talk about our favorite bands, careers, and sprinkled with his tattooing history, Matt created exactly what I set out to get.
If you ever feel the need to get some ink done in a place that has people passionate about tattoos and music, then go to Thrill Vulture Tattooing; I sure as hell will.
