A few years ago, I was looking to get a large tattoo that covered my chest and stomach. It was a big deal for me so I knew I needed to have the right guy. I had followed Shawn's work for a handful of years and knew he was the guy for the job before I even decided on what I wanted the tattoo to be. I brought in some reference pictures and we went to work. 5(6?) sessions and 22ish hours later, there was an incredible piece of art covering the front of my body. Shawn made the entire experience as pleasant and enjoyable as anyone could possibly have made it. Super professional, super friendly, great conversationalist, very understanding and accommodating, and genuinely just exceeded all expectations. I used to pull up his IG and recommend him to every single person that mentioned wanting a tattoo because he's just that good, and my experience at Trustworthy really solidified that for me. Would recommend to everyone. 🤘

Shawn was an amazing partner. He was able to take my terrible drawing and bring it to life. The whole experience was as good as you could hope for. Most importantly the piece healed great and the color has maintained and still looks great. The problem with a artist like Shawn is you want so many more but you have to pace yourself or you’ll run out of canvas!

Highly recommend!! I had a 20 year old tattoo that needed to desperately be covered up on my thigh. Shawn was amazing! Took almost 8 hours in a total of 3 sessions. I have 14 other tattoos from all over from places I’ve been. Hands down Shawn’s lines are flawless! Color is outstanding! And so far has been the fastest healing tattoo I’ve ever got! He was very professional, clean, and gentle! His prices are higher then other places I’ve been. But you definitely get what you pay for! I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my new piece! Worth every penny!

This place is one of the cleanest, and friendliest shops I've been to. The artists are all very knowledgeable and experienced. Had a great experience here. Shawn Patton did my tattoo and absolutely crushed it. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Oberlin is weird at times but this tattoo shop rules always.
