We arrived on time and they were waiting for us. Angel was awesome, very gentle and meticulous. She explained everything clearly, before and after. The shop was incredibly clean and had a very cool vibe. The owners were great, friendly and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

Great work, super friendly shop. I almost passed out during a tattoo once and the other tattooers in there took good care of me. For traditional work, go to Shane (ShaneWhiplash on instagram)... I moved away from Akron and I still drive back to get tattooed by him. Worth it every time!
Tons of great flash to choose from, great custom work, and a super easygoing, professional environment. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I went to see Chase, he is a true artist to say the least. 22 years ago I got some tribal work done on my leg and needles to say I was over it. Chase listened to my wants and concerns and went over a few choices with me and he came up with an amazing peony flower (representing the compassion I need to show for myself) to cover up my softball size tattoo. His work is second to none and is absolutely beautiful. It was over a 3 hour session and he was very thoughtful of how I was doing during such a long tattoo service. It healed flawlessly and I recommend him to everyone. It’s very “scary” to allow someone to put a permanent piece of art on your body, and I trusted him completely. I waited over 15 years to find someone I could trust to do my cover up, and I’m beyond happy with the results and can’t wait to add to it! Chase is the best tattoo artist I have ever known, for me it’s about the whole experience and I give him 1000% a thumbs up! Thank you for taking something I didn’t like about my body and making it beautiful again!

I got my first tattoo at Black Tooth after several friends recommended them to me. I showed up on a Tuesday afternoon as a walk-in, and they were able to fit me in. I got a small tattoo on my ankle in memory of my grandpa, and my artist, Carlos, did a fantastic job. He was quick, professional, and gave me a good quality piece for a very affordable price. The other staff were also great and were very welcoming. Tattoo shops can sometimes be intimidating and dingy, but Black Tooth is neither. They have great staff and are a very clean shop (cleanliness is a huge priority for me). I have more tattoo plans in the future, and I will 100% be going to Black Tooth for all of them.

I went to see Chase for the first tattoo I've gotten that is regularly visable- so needless to say I was nervous. He really cared about what I wanted, and basically read my mind on how I wanted it to look. His script work is beautiful and I'm super impressed with how clean the lines are. The shop itself is very clean, professional, and a friendly atmosphere. I will be back to see Chase for sure!

Kind of a weird experience—walked in to get three tattoos, one apiece on myself and two friends. Got a quote, but when we showed the artist at the counter he essentially said he didn’t think it would work out and then ignored us/stopped communicating with us, even though my one friend still wanted to go for it. We left, even though there was only one other person there and we were set on getting these tattoos today. They were even simple, just black and very small. Unfortunate, as all the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and I wish I’d seen a little more of the professionalism experienced by other customers.

I’ve got three pieces from black tooth currently and there is a reason I keep going back. The whole staff treats me with professionalism and always works with me. Shane’s work in particular is stellar and if you are in the market for an awesome American Traditional piece, he’s your guy.
