Brandon Munday is amazing. I was a little confused at what exactly I wanted. But after talking with him, I trusted his artistic ability and took his suggestions and let him do his thing. Munday did an amazing job at creating & executing the exact tattoo I had invisioned in my head. The shop was super clean and the staff was friendly & helpful at getting me scheduled and in the chair. The whole process was effortless. I enjoyed my tattoo so much I got another one just a short week later!

Brandon Munday is an amazing artist who does outstanding custom artwork! The shop has a very easy going vibe and he is awesome to work with! Would recommend over anyone! Go get tattooed!

These guys stayed open during the quarantine despite hanging up the thinnest black paper to cover the windows. I would not trust getting a tattoo there especially given the complete disregard for health and sanitization. You are putting yourself at a risk by going here.
*I see the shop everyday, numerous times a day. Despite what they say, they were doing tattoos during the quarantine. The local health department has been notified. I would not risk getting tattoo here.

Old North State is the only place I will go, period. The creativity, cleanliness, and attitude in this atmosphere is In a class of its own, bar none!
By all means, go check out all the other shops, or just save yourself the time and gas and come here. 💯

I did not get a tattoo here, so I am not rating that. I am rating the service that caused me not to get a tattoo there.
When we called about making an appt, we were told we had to make an appt in person; when we walked over to the shop, they still had a couple hours before they closed and no one was doing a tattoo, but we were told they didn't have time to help us that evening. There were 2of us and we each wanted a small arm tattoo.
We made appt for the next day, and they said they would call us to let us know when exactly to come over because of another appt before ours. They didn't call, so we called them and were told that they wouldn't have time for us after all, and the next appt they had free was 2wks away. The guys were nice about it, and I guess they are busy (so they must be good artists), but after all that we went to Tattoo Archive and we're very happy with our tattoos.
