The artwork is incredible inside and so are the artist. The three that were there when I got mine were super nice, friendly, and so chill to work with. My tattoo artist, Devon (Aka @tatdew on insta), did an incredible job on my dragonfly tatt. I came in with a design and she tailored it to her style and went at it. Super chill to work with and seemed to actually care about what she was permanently putting on my body. Every step she verified as well as give her input on her ideas and they were all great. Highly recommend this shop and will be going back.

After researching tattoo studios while on a girls trip to Wilmington, we settled on Rhythm and Blues after seeing the work on their website (wow). We walked in (no appointment) and were seen by Rev shortly after. Oh my GOSH. I’ve never been happier with a tattoo. I showed him a concept and he ran with it. I am blown away by the detailing on my little honey bee and how he made the experience just so welcoming and fun. My friends are even so in love with my tattoo we’re planning a trip to Wilmington JUST to see Rev next year. PLUS the other artists are just as incredible. I’ve never found a shop I love as much as this one. I’m so thankful we found it! Thank you so much for creating something so beautiful. I can’t believe it’s on my body 🥰😍

Cayla is my favorite tattoo artist in Wilm. When you move across the country, it’s hard to find someone who you can trust with your pieces, but Cayla definitely fits the bill. She’s not only talented but is also kind, trustworthy, and considerate. We spent a lot of time drafting my elbow piece to ensure it was perfect and it absolutely is. The shop itself is clean, the other artists are friendly, and it’s just a good vibe.

The best experience we could have asked for. -Jacob and Devon- specifically worked with my boyfriend and I. We came as walk-ins and they worked hand-in-hand with us to get the tattoos we wanted. The shop environment is welcoming and the staff are great. I highly recommend Rhythm and Blues Tattoo!

Cayla has done 2 tattoos for me. One was a very difficult coverup and she killed it. I get so many compliments on it and no one can see or tell what the coverup was! I thought it would be impossible to do and would just have to live with it but that is not the case! The second one I gave her info on what I wanted and she put it all together and it’s an amazing multiple flower should piece! Being somewhat new to the area and not having a tattoo artist was scary but after looking at her portfolio I knew she would do the best! It can be intimidating walking into a tattoo shop but not this one. They greet you immediately and make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Now I can’t wait to go and get more!
