Atom Bomb Studio

I was looking for a place in Las Cruces to start my sleeve tattoo and did not find another artist that was as enthusiastic as Aaron to do my work. His shop is inviting and clean, he explained things well, and most importantly he did a great job on my tattoo. Super friendly and loves what he does so makes your experience that much better. Also during covid, he took extra precautions in making sure himself, his staff, and you were healthy and safe. Highly recommend.

We now live about 300 miles away from Las Cruces but when we did live there we heard great things about Atom Bomb. We have been wanting matching tattoos and I've been wanting my "mom" tattoo as I call it for a long time. So we decided to give Atom Bomb a call.
Carlton was amazing with us. Everything from his communication with us via phone/email to our designs to our experiance with him was awesome.
He responded fast to messages, and when we saw the designs it was better than what we had imagined!
This was both mine and my husbands first tattoos and they have a lot of meaning behind them. We absolutely love them and the experience Carlton gave us for our first tattoos was great. We will definitely be going back to Carlton and Atom Bomb Studio in the future for other tattoos we want.

I brought my cousin, little sister, and myself in to all get tattoos done (5 tattoos in total). All of them were tribute tattoos and are extremely important to us and we love how each of them came out (even better than I had imagined). Aaron is amazing and was great throughout the entire time we were there. I will definitely recommend him to anyone that asks.

Atom Bomb Studio is a very professional and personable tattoo shop that knows exactly what they're doing. I went there for a 3 session back piece. I initially drew out my idea 3 years ago. In those 3 years i couldnt find an artist to see what i was drawing. Most of them just stuck to what they knew. I showed my drawing to Aaron. And he made it come to life. He perfected my idea and i can say it was exactly what i pictured. I now have a master piece on my skin that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I have nothing but good things to say about Aaron and his keen eye for detail in the art he produces. He's an artist that makes things happen. I will be going to this shop again and will recommend this shop to anyone. I had an excellent experience at this shop. I'll post pictures once my tattoo heals up in order to defend my post. Found this amazing artist by luck right after I moved to Cruces. He is one of a kind!!! Absolutely love going to his shop. He does awesome work and he is just a genuinely great guy. Took my daughter there too for her first tattoo and he made her first tattoo experience a fantastic one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Recently moved to Las Cruces from Cleveland Oh and yesterday I got my first tattoos in New Mexico from Carlton and it was such a great experience! The large tattoo is of my 2 little parrots and a prickly pear cactus. He did such an amazing job; I absolutely LOVE it!! It has bright, vibrant, colors in a watercolor technique and is exactly what I asked for! Now I have my 2 babies with me all the time! They are spot on. He also did a Sanskrit Mantra on my upper back that also looks perfect.
Not only are the tattoos great quality and beautiful, the whole experience was super fun! Carlton was so nice and him and the other two artists in the shop, including the owner, were super funny and made the entire time I was there enjoyable! I have just about a dozen tattoos and this was by far the most fun tattoo experience I've ever had.
Can't recommend this shop enough and will definitely be back to see Carlton in the future!

I have nothing but awesome things to say about this shop! The staff and owners are super chill and fun to hang with, and the shop is beautiful and kept super clean. Definitely one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had! Anahy is super light handed and does beautiful linework, and I am super happy with the end result. 11/10 would recommend. I plan to return in the future fo sho!

I moved to Socorro two years ago for a job. I come down often. I went to Atom Bomb for the first time after learning Black Rat was no more. What a great shop! I'm very happy with my tattoo! I wanted a lithium carbonate molecule with a semicolon and green watercolor background. I love how Carlton integrated the semicolon with the lithium carbonate molecule in such a creative way. I love the aurora borealis effect he did with the watercolor design behind it. Thank you Carlton!

Recently got a tattoo with the lovely glassjawbabe (Anahy) and it was a great experience. I got a real dainty small detailed piece behind my ear and she made the whole experience a great time. Love the outcome. Super clean as well! Book with Atom Bomb you won’t regret it!

I did a web search on many tattoo studios around EP and I came across Atom Bomb, and made my choice to get my first tattoo here. It was the best experience with the entire crew of the studio. They made us feel very welcomed. My gf and I got matching tattoo's and Carlton was amazing. He was very clean and very professional. I will definitely be returning to them.
