Exile Tattoo

Visited this shop on a recommendation, and was not disappointed! I actually visited Exile 2, and Bob was my artist. There was a mix up with the appointment time but he was still happy to take care of me. I loved how clean and well-organized the shop was, even the bathroom! (I loved cricket's needlepoint, by the way! 👌🏻) My friends were allowed to sit with me and chat and laugh through the whole thing. Bob explained each step, which I appreciated even if I've had plenty of tattoos. He offered his own suggestions and took mine as well, and was so pleasant to work with. He made it so that I was able to really relax and be confident in his work. Being in the medical field, I can't help but watch closely whenever someone will be working on me, and I was impressed with everything. Gloves were changed as necessary, things were kept tidy, and I was tended to in a perfectly clean and safe manner. I would love the opportunity to visit in the future for a more in-depth piece, if only Texas was closer!! Thanks a million to the team and Bob, who welcomed us and sent me away with a wonderful new piece of art. Keep up with the great work, ya'll!!

Great experience!! Can't go on enough about this place. I got my first tattoo here, by Bob, and he did such a great job, no disappointments. I had a consultation on a Thursday and got the tattoo the very next day, great service. The place is very clean and inviting. Would recommend to all my friends.

I love giving a professional the freedom to do what they enjoy. I came with ideas, but left much of my decisions up to Whispering Danny's advice. The work was impeccable, but more than that, he's an amazing human being. Excited to go back!

Just finished up my second session with Steven Campbell, he did an absolutely incredible job on my tattoo! He was very personable, professional, and a fantastic artist! Everyone in the shop is very friendly, it's very clean and welcoming. This will definitely not be my last visit!

I recommend Josh Martin! Did an awesome job on my shoulder blade tattoo! Super professional and nice all around. Not sure if Cricket is still working the desk/phones but she was awesome to work with too.

Came to Exile years ago for a tattoo that was done by Danny. It was great. Came again for a refresh and scheduled a consultation. Got a call on the day of my appointment that Danny was out for some reason and they had to reschedule. Oh well, so I rescheduled for next week. Today was the day of my appointment. Showed up at the studio on time and the door was locked. Went next door to Exile 2 - they tell me that Danny is out again (for whatever reason) and Riley who rescheduled my first appointment is out sick. Never mind the fact that somehow I was no longer on their schedule and no one bothered to call me in advance. Barely any effort was made to apologize for this. I’m done with this place, my money will go somewhere else, would leave zero stars if I could.

This place is amazing top to bottom. All three artists in the original Exile are great. Same can be said about the newer Exile 2. This is not a walk in same day kind of shop, so go in and make an appointment. I have been tattooed by Steven Campbell don't many many years and I have never once been disappointed. His pricing is reasonable and his authenticity is verified. Jessie Hopeless is incredible, with a name like that you kinda have to be. Her wait list is pretty long, so be prepared to wait a while if you are able to get in with her. But it will be worth it. Lastly there is Whispering Dan. I've never had any work done with him, but what I know of him, he is one of the OG tattoers in Kansas City.

I took my daughter to get her first tattoo for her 18th birthday. Nathan Blankenship was the artist we used and we couldn't have been more happy.
He was not only kind, patient and personable his work was amazing.
He is highly recommend.

I have been there twice now to start on the sleeve on my left arm. Steven has done an excellent job on both of my tattoo's. Not to mention he is a genuinely cool guy. I would recommend this place to anyone serious about a high quality tattoo! Prices are more than reasonable for what you get and it is a very clean environment. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

I've had Bob Rodriguez in Exile 2 next door do both of my tattoos and I couldn't be happier. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly, the appointment was quick, and Bob was an absolute joy to be around. Whether you're getting your first tattoo or your last, you can't do much better than Exile.
