I don’t know why they make you make appointments They made me wait almost an hour. I think there should be better communication between the customers and artists. They’re great at art and tattoos and do an AMAZING job but the Ubers there aren’t cheap and u just wish they were more punctual.

I got my tattoo done here by Deanna and 10/10 would recommend her and this place overall. The shop is clean and inviting. The people that work here are really nice and welcoming. Deanna is so talented and did such a good job getting the likeness of my dog in my tattoo, it was everything I asked for and more! Deanna is super nice, professional, and easy to talk to. She makes you feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. When the tattoo was done, Deanna asked me if she could invited in her coworkers to see it (which of course I said yes!) this big burly man walks in to see and after looking at it in the sweetest dad-like voice tells Deanna “I’m so proud of you!” For her work. If that doesn’t tell you the kind, supportive, good-vibes that fill this shop, I don’t know what does.

The price was also reasonable given that this shop is in the city and you have to expect their shop minimum will be higher than somewhere out in the burbs where they wouldn’t have to pay Boston rent to keep the lights on! Overall I would highly recommend this location and Deanna as an artist!

I cannot hype up Deanna enough. She has done every single one of my tattoos and blows me away every time. During my first tattoo she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and frequently checked in with me during the process to make sure I was doing okay. I actually dragged my boyfriend along for that first tattoo and he now has four pieces from her as well. For my most recent experience I came in on Friday trying to get a tattoo before Monday because I am deploying for a work trip for several months and wanted to sneak a tattoo in before I left. I booked a consult for Friday morning fully expecting not to be able to squeeze it in but wanting to try nonetheless. She managed my expectations and let me know that she was booked solid but if anything finished early or anyone cancelled she’d give me a call. I wanted a softball sized flower, just the line work so I was hoping I could be squeezed in. She made time for me Saturday night and went above and beyond my expectations. She did the flower as well as a bunch of petals and leaves to connect it to a precious piece she had done for me last year. She’s very accommodating with resizing and placement of stencils as well as adding and changing pieces on the spot. The tattoo is beautiful and we even had time to do some beautiful shading of the entire piece. While tattooing she is fairly fast without compromising quality and honestly a joy to chat with during the whole tattoo. I couldn’t ask for a better tattoo experience and will be continuing to book with her for the foreseeable future.

I would not go back here for a piercing - with their piercer Joe specifically. He seemed miserable at his job and was not helpful when (very basic & reasonable) questions were asked. Honestly his vibe is OFF & no one should have to trust someone like that for something as serious as a body modification.

My friends went the day before and had Brian as their piercer, and it sounds like they had a completely different & pleasant experience. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to choose the piercer on their booking website.

Absolutely love my tattoo! I wanted the perfect feather to memorialize my brother and my tattoo artist Jeudiel seemed to know exactly what I wanted. He was beyond professional and sweet, his art work beautiful! There was a bit of a wait, but definitely well worth the time. The staff girls were amazing as well. Have only had my tattoo for a few hours and have had many compliments. Thank you again Jeudiel and staff for making my day so special.

I got my earlobes pierced here (second lobe piercing) and the piercer, Joe, was absolutely fantastic. Scheduling was a breeze on their website. They take pandemic precautions seriously, and it was by appointment only, which I really liked. The office manager was friendly, greeted me by name when I walked in, answered some questions I had, and gave me stickers :D She's awesome!

They had all their (many, many) licenses and training certificates hung on the wall. Joe was very patient while I picked out jewelry, showed that everything was freshly autoclaved, and answered the billion other questions I had. Honestly, I barely felt anything when he pierced my ears. He's that good.

The piercings healed great, and now I really want to go back so I can get other holes put in my body!

Had very high hopes for this place due to all the positive reviews. Came in this morning right when they opened at 12pm for their walk in small tattoo saturdays. Was the first person to put my name on the list and was told to wait in my car for them to text me. Waited in my car for 45 minutes so decided to walk inside to check in. Was asked if I wanted to put my name on the list again and informed that no I had already been waiting. Noticed my name was crossed off from the list though without receiving a call or text?? They then informed to sign all the release forms and send in my picture and assured me someone would be right with me. I waited another hour and watched others walk in after me and receive their tattoos and walked out before someone even came to sit with me. When the artist finally came out he mistakenly went to someone else which the receptionist told him after. He proceeded to say “well what are we going to do I’m done after this tattoo” to which the receptionist said “I just really need you to do this other tattoo instead” twenty minutes after that encounter the other receptionist told her that the artist was upset because he really wanted to do the other tattoo and again asked what they were going to do. Ended up walking out without getting the tattoo, completely unacceptable.

I went to get my nose piercing changed, booked an appointment and drove all the way out to the medford location (30 minutes away). I walked in and the piercer was sitting on his phone, he told me the appointment had been booked for tomorrow. I then asked if I could just buy the jewelry instead and he said he "didn't have time" although he appeared to be doing nothing when I walked in and there was only one other customer in the shop who was speaking to another artist. I left and came back the next day but when I arrived he said it was too early to change the piercing, although it had been 5 months. He was very belittling and blunt when I asked him further questions. He failed to mention that he wouldn't put in new jewelry when I had come in the day before and it wasn't mentioned on the website when I booked the appointment. I will definitely be finding another piercer and shop.
