I have been getting tattooed by Mat For about 10 years now. I live in New Hampshire and have always been willing to drive the hour for a tattoo. I highly believe once you find your artist you stay.
That being said. ALL of the artists at Black Hydra are amazing and I would let anyone of them ink me. I highly recommended black hydra if yoy ate looking for professionalism, cleanliness, and fun.

He's a great conversationalist if you want to talk or plays music if you just want to get your piece done. I'm also a huge fan of Emily's work and can't wait to set up my next appointment.

I have been here twice so far and I will continue to return indefinitely! The shop is clean and well decorated. The artists are fantastic at what they do! I've had work done by emily twice now and I'm nothing short of amazed at the final work. Usually I'm a pretty detail oriented person; when working with emily we discussed rough concepts and she turned "a 2D silhouette of a tree line and probably a porcupine" into an amazing piece. I cannot speak higher of the work I have seen come out of this shop, and the work I have recieved.
They are willing to work with you to make sure you are happy, and if needed they have the experience to help you make certaint decisions.
