Almost Famous Tattoo & Piercings

We had to wait a bit for the piercer to come in but it was well worth the wait! Joe was so nice and incredibly gentle while piercing (septum). He went over the piercing and healing process with us and was just incredibly nice.

Missy was an absolutely incredible piercer. She explained everything she was doing throughout the process. She was also very easy to talk to and made the atmosphere feel very safe. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking to get a piercing!

The piercer and front desk person were super nice. It took like 10min to get my piercing once I was inside. I did had to wait outside to limit the amount of people inside as a covid precaution.

My piercing is all healed up and i am really happy with my whole experience here.
Would come back again and recommend.

Steve did an incredible job on my tattoo! so kind and willing to work with you on what you want. everyone in the shop was very nice and it was a fun, calm environment. will be going back for more tattoos for sure!!!

Missy was absolutely incredible with my excited, but very nervous, 6-year-old. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable and truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. My friend and I went yesterday for nose piercings. Missy really provided a great experience! She knew exactly what to say to make us feel comfortable and her professionalism and knowledge of the piercing process and after care was impressive and appreciated. I will definitely be going back to have my ring changed in six months and will go here for any future piercings :)

I have had 3 tattoos done by Roman and I have another scheduled soon. I have visited a couple different artists for tattoos and not one of them has been comparable to Roman. He is funny, a great conversationalist, a great artist, and made me feel super comfortable from the start. He keeps his area clean and is very thorough in his aftercare directions. I HIGHLY recommend coming to him for tattoos. I’ve also been pierced many times at almost famous and they have done an amazing job I always walk out of that place excited!

“Almost famous” is a find! I’ve wanted a helix piercing for a while and, one day last last week, I decided it was time to get it. I’m new to Portland so I relied on information from the internet to select a spot. “Almost Famous” got so many top reviews that they seemed too good to be true. But they are. It is not fancy by any means but very clean. Everything seems neat and organized. Any comments concerning piercing cited Missy’s warmth (particularly with children) and easygoing competence. And that’s what I found. Not only is Missy pleasant to be around, she is also clearly very good at what she does. I highly recommend this place!
