Had a great experience receiving two tattoos on March 9, 2013. Dave had done my daughter's tattoo a couple of years ago and did a wonderful job, so we were glad to find him at the shop we had Googled. I would recommend Dave and Genuine Tattoo Co for anyone who is looking for an experienced tattoo artist do their tattoos.

Zi was very cool and did an awesome job on my little wizard frog tatt this afternoon :) I'm not sure what some people are even complaining about with the prices it was very reasonable, heck I expected to spend more than I did. Just keep in mind he's a pro who's been at this for a while, he knows what he's doing and he knows what his time and experties are worth

i had to get a nose piercing redone, the owner was very friendly. he walked me through the after care information (evil by the needle failed to ever give me). as i was about to get pierced, he was showing me that the instruments he was going to use were clean and sterilized. i feel comfortable with the job he has done. i definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone! Evil by the needle may be cheaper, but they dont do as well of a job as they do here!

The people here are absolutely wonderful and understanding! I came here with an industrial piercing I had gotten somewhere else that was going downhill very quickly, and they changed it out and put in new jewelry for me! Since they helped me, I haven't felt any pain from it. I'm very grateful, and I highly recommend this place!

By far the best place to get inked or pierced in Bloomington. Always clean, everyone there is cool with the entire rainbow of humanity. They do great work. Z did my nose piercing, and he was awesome!

There is an individual who works here that was so mean to me the ONE time I’ve gone in here. I even have friends who know of him & they agree his is very rude. He talks down to me like I’m a child. I didn’t give him one reason to act the way he did towards me. I mean, he was cussing at me & everything. I don’t care how long you’ve been tattooing for, that is not an excuse to be malicious towards someone. Good luck. Whenever someone asks me about tattoos & piercings in the area I always go “go here (anonymous tattoo company) not Genuine Tattoo.”

Zi is amazing and his work is fantastic. He actually takes his time and makes sure you love what you're getting. You don't feel hurried. The shop is clean and everything is comfortable.

Good piercing here but don’t come for a tattoo. Overpriced and they justify it by saying “quality costs more” which could be true but they don’t even do that great of a job. Friend of mine got a tattoo there and the owner had a gun on the table the entire time. Go to time and tide.

Shannon (that old guy lol) killed my tattoo I got yesterday and is a great dude. Funny as hell. 200 precent recommend his shop for any tattoo needs they will definitely take care of you. New to Bloomington and definitely not going to any other shop from here on out!!
