"We currently are not offering Piercing or any Piercing type services at this time. We are a custom design tattoo shop. We usually work by appointment, but are sometimes open for walk-ins. For a consultation or pricing, it's best to stop by the shop and meet with an artist! We require a deposit to make an appointment to get tattooed, and that deposit is included in the final cost of the tattoo."

I got my tattoo from DaPirateMike last year. Usually I bleed a lot and color never seems to absorb in my skin. I wanted to see how this turned out after some time (it was a very special tattoo in memorial of my mother). Here I am a year later and still very pleased! And I don't know what he did different but minimal bleeding!
I still get compliments often! We just spent 10 days in Hawaii and I kept sunblock on it constantly and the color is still holding on even after stronger UV ray exposure.
I'm looking to expand now around my whole shoulder and some cover-ups of really bad tattoo's that I got when I was young and naive and didn't know how to search for a true artist. Mike and his staff were great.
The place is very clean, sanitary and he takes his time and listens, he is creative and gave honest input. Felt very comfortable with him and that is one thing I've learned in my years of tatt's, you have to trust the artist. Husband is impressed as well and looking to get some more art done!

Mike is the bomb when it comes to tattoos. He has done probably 20 tattoos on me.
My husband liked them, and now he has 2 sleeves , thanks to Mike.
Courtney the piecer is amazing at what she does. She tells you everything step by step. Even breathing techniques when she is about to get ya.... lol
They both have become part of our family. Not by marriage or anything. But they are really honest, kind, and caring.

I discovered Stay True in 2013 when I was in search of an artist who could give my then fiancé and me linking tattoos before our wedding. Previously, I had gotten several tattoos from several different artists, but none like Mike at Stay True. I have never been in a shop that was as clean, or dealt with artists as professional and honest and Mike. This is why I ONLY trust Stay True Tattoos for my piercings (Courtney is amazing) and tattoos and why I refer everyone, from my mother, my brother, my children, my friends and strangers to STT. This is my favorite place for tattoos! And peircings! Everytime my wife and I go in there we are treated like family! It's always super clean and everyone that works there actually talks to you like a human being instead of telling you your ideas just won't work for a tattoo and it's a stupid idea. Which I've gotten a lot at other shops. And that's why this is the only body mod shop my wife and I will g to. The staff at stay true will help you in creating a timeless tattoo or peircing you won't regret!
