from the age of 17, and up until now, i had plans to go get a tattoo from sara, and she did not come to play when i was finally able to get it, the line work, the steadiness, everything about her work is absolutely incredible. im so beyond thankful i had such a TALENTED artist to do my first professional tattoo. everyone that works at new era, wither it be a piercer, or artist, has such a kind heart and they’re amazing to be around💗.

I was in town for a brief visit and Sara Wood made time for an appointment that fit perfectly into my schedule. The shop was clean and every employee I encountered was professional and kind. Sara was prompt, prepared, and worked carefully and quickly. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. It’s very clear that New Era is the best of what is happening in Douglas Georgia.

A friend and coworker convinced me to have some work done here by Chris Butler... I have zero regrets. In fact, I've been back here numerous times and finished an entire sleeve with Chris. The audio owner, Oscar, has always been engaging and conversational as well. It's nice to go into a tattoo shop and be able to hit it off with all the staff. The location is super clean (even the bathroom) and has a very welcoming vibe. They also offer piercings and jewelry in addition to hosting numerous tattoo artists. You could say it left a lasting mark on me! 😄
To put it into perspective, I drive almost an hour one way just to get work done by Chris - but I've also seen a lot of work from the other artists and don't think you could go wrong with any of them... but make an appointment, because they all stay booked up.
