The guy at the front desk was helpful but as soon as we walk in, my sister and I are met with a two employees taking up 2 of the 3 seating options leaving us to squeeze onto the one seater chair. One of which was rambling on and trying to engage with us on issues in his personal life. Once we were sent back, the artist started on my sister’s piercings and my mom wanted to see her reaction so I pulled out my phone to record (making sure to cut out the piercer in respect to his privacy). I got snapped at for having my OWN phone out “put that away” he says. First off, I could’ve made a scene off that response alone because if someone doesn’t know something, your first instinct shouldn’t be to be rude and snap at them. Instead I respond with, “oh I’m sorry” he continued on after I’ve already apologized, “just so you know, most professional places don’t allow recordings.” Which is funny to me considering every professional place I’ve been to has had no issues with recordings. But since we’re gonna go there, most professional places also wear and or
require masks as there is a whole pandemic on the rise and also just out of common decency common decency but I couldn’t possibly know more than an arrogant tattoo artist. :) This all happening when he was supposed to be worried about sticking a needle through someone’s ear. Most “professional places” mark the customer’s ear to ensure they like the placement. Maybe that’s their norm, maybe it’s not, but I just found it ironic to point out what’s professional and what’s not. However, judging by some of the owner’s responses to negative reviews, I don’t think professionalism is this business’s forte but i figured I’d leave this for anyone on the fence.

Went in yesterday for a cover up and Seth did my piece for me. EXCELLENT JOB! I am so pleased and satisfied with his work. Really friendly environment and down to earth. I will definitely be back and I will recommend Seth and Jbird to anyone who is looking for a tattoo.
