I had the BEST experience at City of Ink! I got work done by Kandace Layne. She is a phenomenal tattoo artist, I gave her complete creative freedom and she made me the most beautiful piece . I will cherish it for the rest of my life. Highly recommend this place, absolutely amazing people, atmosphere and high quality work

Don't know if Proph is still there but he did an amazing job on a cover up for me & the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere here is cool & eclectic. The other artist are very friendly & funny, eases any tension you might have about getting a tattoo. I highly recommend this shop!

I had a 1 by 1 inch ankle tattoo done at City Ink a little more than a year ago. The tattoo I "got" was partially faded within 3 days.
The wait time was a little bit on the longer side (around 3pm) but the staff was welcoming. The tattoo took about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Not sure if the employee was trying to rush or if he wasn't putting enough pressure. No bits of blood came out & I thought it was fine. I returned back home to NJ the day after and followed correct washing procedures, but within 3 days, the tattoo was already faded. I had to get it completely retouched at a NJ tattoo shop a few days after.

I had such a great experience at COI! How amazing is it to find a tattoo shop owned and employed by black tattoo artists?! I support the black community and have told all my friends of this amazing shop!! I follow most of the artists on IG, and they all have their own creative styles and they are all amazing! So it doesn't matter what type of tattoo you are looking for there is someone here that will bring your ideas to reality!!
I unfortunately had to reschedule my tattoo due to me being out of town, or not in town long enough and my artist Kandace was more than understanding! Brittany and Chris Carter always called to confirm my appts or reschedule them for me, and they were so friendly and helpful. I've been in shops before where nobody will even look at you, so thank you City of Ink for making me feel so comfortable and welcome in the shop.
My tattoo is still in progress, but I am very pleased with the art as well as the experience. Kandace is amazing, and I can't wait for her to do more pieces for me!! 💜💜

Had a great experience here. The place us clean with a calming vibe. Qulock did my tattoo. It really took my design and knocked it out the park. I mean he did research and really thought about color. Its my favorite tattoo I've gotten so far.

Honey the piercer was AMAZING! We had a large party and she was fun, kind, and patient with us. Also, the atmosphere in the shop was wonderful. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Atlanta!

I totally give City of Ink five stars. I have been to many tattoo shops known in Atlanta and i was completely sleeping on them (City of Ink). My artist was a OCD young man name Roger:) he was awesome. His portfolio does him no justice he is amazing. I want City of Ink to know you guys rock!!!! The shop is also very clean and the staff very friendly!!! I will return soon.
