Got my first large piece done there last night. The owners are very nice and make you feel comfortable. The shop is very clean and the prices are very good. The artist I had ( Jose ) was very good at making sure I was doing ok throughout the tattoo. Best tattoo I have on my body and will definitely be going back for more ink. I would recommend them to anyone who wants high quality work at a great price.

I was on vacation and decided to get a tattoo of a Yankee logo. The girl there charged me $200.00 for a tattoo that could have been done better by Stevie Wonder. After immediately becoming concerned with the result, I decided to wait a few days, hoping that it only looked bad because it was healing. 3 days later I noticed the lines were extremely crooked and the shading was very blotchy. The guy there was very nice and agreed that I was over charged for a terrible job. He also told me the girl who did my tattoo had received many complaints in the past. He sent a picture to his boss and he answered back “it’s clear he didn’t take care of his tattoo and he was definitely picking at it”. For him to make this assumption by simply looking at a photo was absurd. I have 4 other tattoos and I treated this tattoo the same way I have treated the previous 4. I was not picking at any scabs, because franky it grosses me out to do so. To sum this horrible experience up I WOULD NOT go to this poorly ran tattoo shop. After spending $200.00 for a tattoo that I was told was worth only $100.00 I expected a better result. I requested some sort of refund and was denied. Now I have to wait until it fully heals in order to get it fixed which will cost me more money.

Me and my friend went in for matching tattoos back in November 2018. They turned out awful and was nothing like the outline and picture we showed. We were told that when it healed the detail would
come through and colors would blend. Big lie. I have so many beautiful tattoos I should of known better. My friend had hers covered right away but I had to wait until I had surgery and was healed. I went back to the shop a little over a week ago. I told them I wanted a cover and sent them pictures of what i would like done. They said they would text me when whatever they were going to draw up was completed. I followed up the next day to check on the progress. Nothing. I specifically went back there to give the artist a chance to fix the mistakes that were made so I wouldn’t feel inclined to write a review and tell all of my friends to avoid this place but here I am. Do not go to this place. Or at least Eli.

Got my first tattoo here, loved it. Very clean inside, my artist was very friendly. She did an amazing job recreating the photo I showed her. I’d definitely go back.

Amazing vibe here! Awesome work and very inviting! I trusted Kye to free hand and was blown away by her knowledge of how ink works. Love her! Planning on seeing her every year that I visit my daughter in Bradenton!

Such AMAZING art comes out of this shop all the time. I drive 2 hours from Orlando just to get tattooed by Kai. I have never seen a cleaner shop in my life. I recommend this place to everyone that asks about my art.

Pulled up with all the artists on a smoke break while they had their entire lobby full. Every time someone got called up for their turn the Artist would set them on their chair and leave for another smoke break. Took about 1 hour to actually get worked on and I did not like the outcome. Went to odyssey and got it touched up.
Terrible service.
Not to mention all the tattoos their doing are small Friday the 13th ones which shouldn’t take long at all.

I only waited 20mins to see an artist which in its self is amazing. My artist James was very nice and did an amazing job on my tattoo. I've been to two different tattoo parlors and have been dissatisfied. I'm happy to finally found a good one to call home! I will recommend island tattoo to anyone who's looking for perfection and great attention to detail. -Jena that chick from Poppos😝

Tai did an awesome job on my tattoo. Had it done in script on my forearm with two butterflies. I was a little nervous with all the lines, but she nailed it. The script and the lines on the butterflies are perfect. It was clear shes been doing this a long time and truly knows her craft. I would post a picture but can't figure out how to do that.

Kai was amazing. She got us in on our last day of our honeymoon to get matching tattoos. The work she did was so awesome and too bad I didn’t live here when I got my first tattoo. Thank you so much 😊
