Yankee Tattoo

After reading so many great reviews for this tattoo parlor I expected better. I'm quite disappointed. Bill did a wonderful job on the flower on my ankle. But within a week I had an infection. I notified them immediately (after I went to the doctor's of course). It's been four days and I still haven't heard from them! They tout themselves as a family business - you even have to pay extra to use a credit card for that reason. Well, if it was a family business they would have contacted me by now! Not going back.
Update: Bill called me and assured me that I had a reaction to one of the pigments he used. Once it heals he will make it right. Looking forward to a renewed flower tattoo.

Great long-standing tattoo parlour with a group of amazing artists. Classic atmosphere and it was nice to hear the sound of classic coil machines in a world of rotarys! Bald Bill has been doing tatts for years and is highly recommended if you can book him, but if not, the work being done on others in the shop were amazing as well.

I got my septum pierced here and it was a great experience! I would definitely recommend Yankee to anyone for piercings. The piercer explain everything super thoroughly to me and was very precise when placing the piercing, making sure that I could flip it up if needed. He definitely knew what he was talking about!

this place was AMAZING. put me in short-notice (there was a cancellation), the piercer was super professional and hilarious and kind. i forgot their name (Nick i believe, really 10/10) but they were super sweet and described the process to me so i felt like i was in good hands. i was! their piercing job was amazing, quick, and straight. if you have any questions about this place, let me put them at ease - they’re amazing. and the front desk person is literally the cutest person in the world :P

I’m giving Yankee Tattoo one star because I felt disrespected in the way I was treated. Also they failed to refund and stole my $62 deposit. I never made it to the chair, the needle never touched my body. This review does not reflect upon the quality of tattoo nor the artists who work there.

Yankee Tattoo collected my deposit, lost my appointment reservation, and were unable to refund my deposit upon my arrival at the store. While planning a vacation in VT, my appointment was made 17 days in advance. They were accommodating over the phone, and I told them what I wanted and where on my body I’d like it. I later arrived at the store to find out my reservation was lost.

It was the way they their blunder that manifests my one star review. I had to prove my appointment - after displaying the $62 deposit on my credit history, and showing them listed on my call history, they said, “we can try to squeeze you in between appointments maybe.” I don’t want to “squeezed in” last minute to build something permanent on my body. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t provide it because the manager has to approve such transactions. They refused to refund cash and said they’ll get around to it with the managers help.

At the time this review was written I have still not received my money. I gave Yankee Tattoo one star because they lost my reservation, never gave me a tattoo, and stole my money. Don’t interact with this place if you want a tattoo - they’ll steal your money.

Let me start out by say Nick is AMAZING. My friend and I had appointments to get our nipples pierced, and our appointment ended up being with Nick. He was both incredibly professional and laid back. All around enjoyable guy. My friend and I were both very nervous about getting the piercings, but with 13 years of experience under his belt, Nick was able to calm our nerves with ease. He talked us through everything, answered any questions we had, and performed the piercings so fast we barely knew it happened. Both he and his work station were very clean and well organized. It was by far the best piercing experience I had ever had, and I've had a lot!

One of the oldest shops in Burlington and it shows. All of the artists are professional and extremely talented.

Thank you so much Bill and Max for hosting our bachelorette group this weekend for our mini tats! You made everything seamless and we love the final products! ❤️

I've had 3 ink pieces done in this parlor over the past 10 years by Jason Tooth. Clean facility and attentive staff made my experiences here enjoyable. Haven't gotten any piercing done myself, but brought a friend to have her upper lip frenulum done and she said it went awesome. I'm sure they get tired of tatting and piercing all the newbie college kids in town, but they still do it with professionalism and attention to detail. Definitely reputable and well known in the industry (BILL). My opinion, best shop in town.

Balled Bill did my Devil girl tattoo in 2 hours and did a great job.
Very professional and can schedule easy.
My go to place to get new ink.
Anyone that wants a tattoo go there.
Just got second tattoo at yankee tattoo, and again Bill great.
Had my new pisces zodiac/yin-yang tattoo done head of projected time.
He is the master.😎
